That would be one playoff showing in 20 years. But that is not what I want to convey here. It is the reason I had us going 8-8 but now looks like 5-11. The reason I was predicting 8-8 was Romo. After last Sunday I saw an Aikman of 2000 and realized that Romo would not be carrying the team anymore. Therefore based upon the talent of the Cowboys now, I see the future more clearly. It is time to let the young guns play and fine out who is a keeper in the future. Building starts this year with a clear idea where to go for drafting next year.

2. DL
3. Defensive Backs
4. A new plan for running the defense
5. A new offensive scheme that makes the Cowboys look like the 49er's who kick our a!! Sunday

I would agree with 2-5, as for 1, Romo is not our problem, although he was this Sunday, I don't believe it is his back, if that were the case, I might agree with you.

As for "one and done", this season was done when we didn't field a better defense. Now we are left with merely enjoying the game without the expectation of playoff aspirations.

I can go along with some of your ideas.
We have been rebuilding on the DL,DB.
The QB is a problem with contract but in two years we should be able to draft a new one.
Give Linehan a few games please.
Give both coordinators a chance please

Yep, 1-3 are good with me. In fact, I might do #2 twice. I saw some improvement in the defense, I think we'll get a better read on them this week. Linehan will have to adjust his offense this week and give Tony lots of flares, screens, and TEs, because he must realize going down field isn't happening. This will be a good test for him, there is too much talent on this offense to look like crap again. He knows Romo's limitations and has to adapt.
