Once Pollard got hurt, I knew it was over. I'd rather bow out gracefully now and get the higher draft pick than to get a fluke win with Dak/McCarthy/Kellen. It wouldn't have mattered how poorly they would play against Philly, Jerry would have given all three of them lifetime contracts for breaking the NFC Championship Game drought.
