Well, I will say this, with all the talk of smoke screens and the double speak by Jerry, the last two years it's been no secret who they wanted/were taking for much of the draft.

Also, I totally understand letting things play out, but are you willing to let Dak play out to the tune of not selecting a QB next year if we have a very high pick? I seriously doubt you're ok with that.

No I want them to take a QB high if a franchise guy is available. Even if we have to trade up for one. We are not married to Dak as our future. He's just another piece to the puzzle. A roll of the dice to see if its comes up a winner.

I love Dak's competitiveness, I will say that. It honestly would not shock me if he beat out Moore for the #2 spot at some point in 2016. He's got the offensive line talent to be a little slower in his progressions while learning the nuances. He also has a good enough arm to make all the throw with a little zip, which is more than you can say for Moore. The biggest issue for Dak is going to be playing with pressure. He seems to either set his feet in stone and stare down the pass rush, taking horrible sacks, or he gets happy feet and scampers to soon/too frequently. He is going to have to learn to move in the pocket without completely taking off and I am just not completely sure he can.

He is very inconsistent and is known for throwing teammates under the bus. He has some desirable traits though.

I think this year will tell the story with Kelly. He is either going to be a top pick or a late round gamble. From reading several local articles, his Uncle Jim has took more of a role with him the last year or so.
