One dimensional

We could have really used Will Fuller right now.to be fair even our FO acknowledges that we need speed but they have nothing to actually address it.

There's nobody to stretch the field. Dak doesn't seem to have a great deep ball to even threaten a defense. Witten is becoming embarrassing. We are easy to game plan for.. stack the box and let us have the 6 yard plays. 1 play over 20 yards, that's why we lost.

Not sure your issue with Witten, unless you are talking about blocking--he was getting open and making catches.

The gameplan is stupid. Jason went from, what was regarded as one of the better Coryell OC's in the league, to playing Parcels style offense without having the talent of a Parcells defense.

I was actually a Jason fan, but It's becoming more apparent every game that Jason is a product of Tony. The gameplan is ultra conservative and lacks any real creativity. If Dez is doubled, why aren't you putting him in motion presnap? I can count on one hand the times I've seen Dez motioned and allowed to get a head of steam before the snap. They just let teams take him out of the game. The only time he gets a target is if he's single covered. How many teams are going to single Dez very often?

The 4th and 1 inside the 10.. come on man. TE screen to Witten on 3rd and long... sigh.

And the defense just sucks. I was putting most of that on Jerry and Co, but if you're the head coach, at some point you have to tell somebody that you need players, and stop being loyal to guys who can't play.

Rod had a top defense every year in Chicago and was a big reason why that Cutler led team was even relevant. It's insulting to see a good coach get handed garbage year after year and be expected to perform miracles.

We might squeak a few wins out in Romos absence, but we're going to need Dlaw to be a monster and Gregory to come back and play at a high level of we want to do anything this year.

If we keep playing conservative Parcells football, we'll probably once again lead the league in close losses. I don't really know what to expect, but it's becoming pretty annoying to watch.

Really? Dak has no deep ball, you must of missed the bomb he threw to Butler in the preseason. Maybe if Garrett and Linnehan had not used a short leash on the guy he would have aired it downfield a bit more. How has Witten become embarrassing?

It's a process...and those close losses....are actually moral victories...

The last time we were successful was when Sparano was still here designing plays. Then in 2014 when Murray Romo and Dez won games in spite of his game plan. I'm amazed this guy is still a head coach.

In 2014, Callahan was oline coach. The Oline has been average since he left.

When I seen Witten on the TE screen, I honestly didn't get mad. It was sad.

Dak's a rookie, so like last year with the carousel of QBs who knew little of our playbook, they called an simple game plan. If it isn't easy to see deep, check it off..... that is what you get with a rookie. Dak will get better, but despite the BS that Linehan was spewing, they will have to loosen the reigns on him to do so.

This is an overreaction from several posts. When we throw the ball all around the yard, we complain that we're not running enough or ball controlling enough to protect our D/take advantage of our line etc.. We took several shots to Dez.. a couple we were just unlucky to connect on. Others were just defensed well. As was mentioned by another post, Dak has a great deep ball. I will say that I hope to get Williams/Butler involved in the deep passing game. I think we need to take a deep breath in that it WAS DAK'S FIRST START. I'm not going to overhype NY's defensive additions, but they did play well. Relax.
