It has been the practice of this team to either downplay or shrug off injuries for a long time. We've even seen the owner question players' injuries with Barber and Ratliff. Ratliff to the point of exiting the locker room hastily, if we can believe the story.

Cooper was definitely not himself yesterday and it's anybody's guess what's really wrong but this has been ongoing. Elliott takes himself out more this season than in the past and he's in shape, is there something we're unaware of with him? We're seeing some spin with Vander Esch as well. I also believe they were a lot more positive about Yosemite than the reality.

Part of this is smart football, don't let the enemy know the weakness but it goes beyond that with this team and their casual attitude towards injuries.

First of all, the GM addresses that, not the HC like on the other 31 teams. And he downplays anything that interferes with his sales job and spin. I believe that's why he handles that part of it. The HC is never as positive.

Just sayin, before we jump in on a player, there might be more than meets the eye with this team. Right now, there are players we are not aware of that will be having off season surgery to repair the damage.

With the balance of talent being so narrow in the NFL, just a minor injury that limits a player from being 100% can be a real difference maker.

Elliott doesn't have the heart of a champion, just one on a laundry list of reasons I didn't want to give him QB $.

Maybe its because I am not watching as closely as I do with the Cowboys, but it seems Zeke taps out a lot more often than other RBs.

You obviously didn't see the first college football playoff, or don't know what a "heart of a champion" looks like.

Zeke rushed for over 200 yards in both games (vs Bama and Oregon) and 4th seed Ohio State won the title with their third string QB.

Injuries are no excuse. The guys dropping passes and missing tackles were not injured or backups. No doubt Cooper is not 100% but Gallup and Cobb were catching passes which is how the offense is designed. I think we should not play down the weather and the impact it had on the Cowboys more than the injuries. If the Cowboys executed the fundamentals the way the Patriots do, they would have won the game.

Throw in a couple of "tripping" calls against the Pats, and I will take that bet. hehehehe

Even if they did by 25% more they would have won the game

That's because coaching matters. Our coaching instills no value of grit, passion, inspiration, or motivation into our team. Coaching doesn't care, so why should Zeke? Dak and Sean Lee get punked by players on opposing teams and they don't even fight back. Why? Because they're weak minded. Many of these players had coaches that cared back in college. We are like a less out of control Browns. Browns have a terrible HC and their players are out of control and violent.
