the team. Poor coaching choices, poor drafting, and now poor cap management added to his blundering.

Always love the team but Jerruh and son are making it harder to be optimistic. They are blowing the best years of Romo and Ware.

As someone who believes Jerry the GM is the root problem of this franchise right now, I fail to see how anyone can blame this situation on him. He did nothing wrong, all he is guilty of is refusing to go along with league-wide collusion.

This.

It wasn't in writing so the league, and owners, could not be sued for collusion. Jerry and Danny can blow the league away if they wanted to and it would be the end of the NFL as we know it.

That's insane. Jerry can't have this one pinned on him. This lie squarely at the feet of Roger Goodell. They played by the rules and got penalized.

It goes up-stream even further than Goodell.

It's all about the other 30 owners, or most of them who whined and cried to the management committee about the wrongs done to them by the Cowboys and Commanders.

That's true, but Goodell is the one who is supposed to be protecting the interests and integrity of the league and he is not doing that.

Talk about missing the mark. This rant makes you look really uninformed. Take a look and listen around the NFL. Read the forum, and educate yourself. There's backlash over this. Even the DFW media is on our sides in this one. That is how backwards the NFL got this.

This one is not on Jerry, half the league seems to have done the same the Skins and Cowboys got singled out for breaking a rule that was not in place.
The NFL even approved to contract

This was my biggest point yesterday. How can the NFL penalize Dallas and Washington for contracts THEY THEMSELVES sat down and approved, knowing full well all the details of each?

I may have missed it, but I have yet to see any of the DFW media have our backs in this one except for Charean Williams. DMN seems to be pretty much accepting it as fact and hasn't printed one word in support of the Cowboys in this situation.

The national media is definitely on our side on this one, as Mike and Mike covered it this morning, Peter King has tweeted about it, and Breer has been fighting it the past 24 hours. I wonder if it is more for the Skins, though, rather than the Cowboys.

Todd Archer has been commenting on it. Many of the other DFW writers are as well.

that is my sense from reading reports. Washington has 36 million to factor into their plans in less than 24 hours.

Priceless. Maybe this explains EXACTLY why there was barely a winter up in here in the DMV area. :laugh1:

Parcells, Phillips, and Garrett are poor choices? Poor drafting? That one class was bad but all the recent others have been solid. Poor cap management? Seems like the cap has been managed quite nicely. Lose Miles or take a potential small $10M bogus fine years later? Pretty easy choice there.

Umm, Romo and Ware have their own destiny in their hands. If Romo makes that pass to Miles in the Giants game the Cowboys are in the playoffs. If Romo doesn't screw up the Det game with back to back picks or the Jets game with a fumble and INT, the Cowboys walk into the playoffs. If Ware would show up in the 4th quarter and make more clutch plays...

How many teams do you think are in the same boat? You do know that fans are always FA's right?

I have wanted Jerry out as GM for a long time. I am not going to pin this one on him. He needs to go all in on FA this year and worry about the 10 mill down the road.
