you mean that the local media is implying that Bowles is coming to Dallas, correct?

In English?

I think JG said that he was going to be the OC, so I think Sparano is a very very long shot for the coaching staff. I read somewhere that he might drop down to the college ranks as HC.

Bowles has a good chance of being the DC, but there are a number of HC positions still open. He might bide his time to see if anyone comes calling. If not, I bet there's a spot waiting for him at Valley Ranch.

I am sitting here eating lunch or dinner whatever it is....

anyway I am watching the 1990 thanksgiving game between the skins and the cowboys.

Its kind of funny to see Todd Bowles tackling jay novacek and emmitt smith!!

pettitbone's defense were very aggressive. I will be curious to see if bowles calls plays that wasy if he is here.

Just for fun.

I still to this day can't understand a thing John Madden has ever said that lasted more than 2 seconds.

EDIT: In reference to theebs' video.

So it looks like Sparano as OC and Bowles as DC (?)

This would probably net me a few hours barricaded in my room on my bed with a towel nearby.

I got it when I read it. :D You're from Miami and a local sports talk host said Bowles has left Miami. Great news. Hopefully he left for good and is headed straight to Dallas.

Listening to even a little of Summerall/Madden makes me loathe Buck/Aikman.

God, do I hate Joe Buck.

Miami has some big, strong defensive linemen. I wonder if Bowles would want to get bigger and more athletic in his front three. If Igor Olshansky remains on this team, it's a joke. For crying out loud, he called Garrett out in the press and was tossed around like Raggedy Ann all year long and danced during embarrassing blowouts.

Look at the Packers spending the number 9 pick on their front three. B.J. Raiji. They appeared to miss on Justin Harrell, because he can't stay healthy. New England drafted Richard Seymour in the top 10. Jerod Mayo at number 10...That was a late riser. I expect Derrick Sherrod to do the same thing that Mayo did, except Mayo was a projected second round pick and not a top 20 pick.

The Packers defense gets pressure with three guys. They keep Woodson out of the deep third in coverage, and they blitz him half the time out of the slot, it seems like.

Prince Amukamara is falling, and I'm glad. Bunting has him in the 11-15 range. Vela had a nice interview with him about the draft. I don't think he's nearly as good as he was hyped up to be. I think he is going to be a strict cover 2 guy. Janoris Jenkins has an arrest on his record, and he isn't the athlete that Newman was coming out, either.

Cameron Jordan is rising, and he could be an option at number 9, along with Marcell Dareus. On the offensive line, Tyron Smith and Derrick Sherrod will make a big run at the top 10, mentioned Sherrod already. Dallas may not pick an offensive linemen at number 9,, but Sherrod will be in the top 10 mix at that spot, I predict.

Cue the Eagles pancaking Jay Ratliff (single block one time) and running out the clock by running the same zone play, over and over and over, again. Dallas needs another interior linemen to rush the passer. Again, the Packers get pass rush with their interior d-line.

The only knock on Bowles is experience at DC. However, people need to be given the opportunity to gain the experience. That really isn't his fault. He has been around very good defensive coaches.

Our defensive line and safety play must improve to have any chance of stopping the tsunami.
