While Peyton Manning was busy hijacking the Chiefs' perfect season, one of his Papa John's locations in Denver was being robbed.

Denver Police confirmed to CBSSports.com that the Papa John's location at 1505 East Evans Ave. in Denver was robbed Sunday night. There's no indication of how much money was taken or, if as TMZ reported, the robbers came in and took money at gunpoint. A Denver Police Department spokesperson said he believed the only crime was taking the money out of the cash register.

A Papa John's employee at the 1505 E. Evans location confirmed to CBSSports.com that the location in question is in fact a Peyton Manning-owned Papa's.

Manning purchased 21 locations in and around Denver last year and they've reportedly been doing quite well.

Broncos fans get pizzas on the cheap if Manning's team emerges victorious, so they've been slinging some serious pies over the past year or so.

Hopefully everyone stayed safe during this incident.
