There are two teams which 'go somewhere' each season and those are the two teams which meet in the Super Bowl. Now, if you want to discuss better regular season records, fine, but if you're going to hang your hat on playoff berths, be my guest. Your team's vacation came a week or two after ours. Big deal. Your argument would be stronger if you would, at least, include NFC championship appearances. Those are one step away from the big game and are notable.
