The most important thing is that Jerry realizes he can't just ignore the QB position despite thinking Romo is going to be the guy for 3-4 more years. I think there was some belief that he'd just ignore the QB spot for a few years then worry about it as it got closer to the end for Romo.

Now, there is a flipside to this. I hope Jerry isn't intoxicated with Prescott to the point he thinks he's fixed the QB spot for now. Like, for example, if next year he's sitting there with a chance to draft a kid like Kizer from ND or the kid from UW who are both considered guys who could play their ways into first round grades if they come out.

Its an interesting development for sure. Drafting Prescott signals a change in philosophy, and realization that Romo is at the twilight of his career.

Hopefully it doesn't stop them from drafting a top guy in the next few years if they like one.

Who knows man, Jerry may think Dak is actually the guy, and we really dont know if he is. He could be great, could be horrible.
