One player from the NFC East...

I'd do a 3 team deal...here is how it goes

Cowboys Get: Eli Manning, Sean Taylor

Commanders Get: Keith Davis, Giants 2nd round pick

Giants Get: D. Bledsoe, Peerless Price, Commander 3rd round pick

Flo and Dat :)lmao2: ) for Walter Jones....

Give me Abraham for Fugita and Singleton...we are dreaming right?

Just wondering, when did Sean Taylor become this great player? Or is it just cuz he's still living off his college career and/or his draft spot?

Sorry, People, but Taylor hasn't been "all that" since he's been in the NFL.

YOu want a safety from the NFC east to pair with Roy? Take the PROVEN player, Brian Dawkins. Now THAT is a great safety tandem.

Eli?

I think if I could trade for any one player, I'd take a young guy at the hardest position to fill.

So, Carson Palmer is my answer.

I don't know who I would trade for him since it would never happen though. :D

As for QB...oh yes, I'll take Palmer. This is kid is something else. Talk about a prototypical BP QB...

I believe the parameters of this imaginary trade is that it can only be with another team in the NFC East.

I may be mistaken though.

I was thinking Dawkins... but he's getting a little long in the tooth, so I went for youth and Taylor.

I agree that Taylor is somewhat overrated... but I think he suffers to a degree from the same thing that Roy does in trying to fill too many holes in the secondary and thus being out of position from time to time. I think with Roy by his side, he would be phenomenal.

That is correct.

And yes Rack...

Dawkins over Taylor, ANY DAY.

Now to address all this Eli-love.

You guys make me sick.

Keep that wondering-eyed, drooling, pantyboy as far away from my Cowboys as possible.
Agreed... without the constant ESPN knob-jobs, Eli wouldn't be considered all that special.

We need Davis for special teams. Give them Lynn Scott.

LOL, of all the answers...Lynn Scott for Sean Taylor would have to be my fantasy trade as well. Hell, the Skins would probably give us a few picks too, heh.

I figured we had to trade a starter for a starter at a comprable position. This game is too confusing.

Oops, you are right. I really should pay more attentio......look, a bird!

If we had to stay in the NFC East, the obvious would be to Get Eli. he's a young guy at the hardest to fill position and he has a ton of upside and a great pedigree.

Clearly that's the obvious choice (to me).

The paramaters of the scenario were who would you trade for and who would you get rid of... so I'd keep Bledsoe to mentor Manning. I'd probably get rid of maybe Eric Ogbogu or Marcus Price. Someone at the bottom of the 53 man roster.

However, I love defense and if I didn't go the above route, I'd probably trade for Sean Taylor. I think with Parcells coaching him and with Roy Williams and the rest of the defense making an impression on the guy... he could be killer back there in the secondary.

As long as were dreaming, why not say we could have any active NFC East player when they were at the age of 25. This would make a big difference.

My choice would then probably either be Dawkins when he was 25 or Strahan when he was 25.

I think Strahan would be my pick though. He's been a great player. Add a 25 year old Strahan to the group we have now and it'd be great!

If I'm making the trade just for this season, I probably take Dawkins instead. But he's starting to get beaten frequently in coverage, he's not the hitter or tackler he once was, and Taylor is 10 years younger.

i see all the eagles games dawkins aint good anymore not even the best safety on the eagles

I would take Eli but I don't think we have anybody on our Roster worth the trade and I don't like trading multiple future picks so I probably wouldn't consider him.

I would, however, consider the following..

Gmen

Will Joseph for LaRoi Glover and Willie Pile.

Iggles

Shawn Andrews for Peterman and Tucker

Jamal Jackson for Thomas Johnson

Brian Westbrook for Marion Barber, Thomas Johnson and Singleton.

Mike Patterson for Thomas Johnson and Willie Pile.

Skinz

Jason Campbell for Henson and Price.

Chris Samuels for Flozell Adams
