I think the key is the running game. The Eagles surprized us but Denver won't. Either Fujita or Burnett need to step up and stuff the run. If we can't stop the run, it will be a very long day. If Henry starts, look for Roy to be close to the line of scrimmage more often.

I just think that the absence of Henry has hurt the whole defense, it allows us to play man more, he is like another safety out wide on running plays , he tackles like Deion never did. We will rise to the occasion, we have a chance to run the table and we will then have almost a bye week to get well afterwards. People forget that if we win T-day, we always got another rest afterward that other teams don't...

the pass rush has been non existant the last two games, and that was against two teams with inferior OL's to Denver's

Well this could go either way.

No doubt the bootleg is Denver's staple passing play. They are very good at it. Teams know they are going to run it, but rarely stop it.

We also have had some trouble defending these plays. QB's have done pretty well against us outside the pocket. We just seem to have some troubles at times with mobile QB's. It has not killed us, but it definetly has not been our strength.

At least we will know it is coming, BUT we have to stop their running game to defend this effectively. If they run with some success you will see those bootlegs working.

IMO there are 4 keys to this game.

!. Contain the run - I am looking at you Roy Williams and Henry. Yes our D-Line and LBers have to play well, but Denver will get a couple of chances to break some, and we need Henry strong on the outside, especially when Bell is in the game, and ROY must come up and be a force!

2. Contain and Pressure Plummer. We can do 1, but can we do both? A lot of times when we play mobile QB's who like to get outside we play a contain defense, and many times when we do that we do not get much pressure. We need both in this game.

3. Our O-Line has to play better than it has the last 2 weeks. Denver and Dallas are #1 and #2 in the league in TOP. Both coaches will want to win this battle. We have to win the battle with our O-Line, and we have to give Bledsoe a clean pocket a few times.

4. DO NOT let Denver out of the gates fast. They are very good at getting a quick 7-14 point lead. When they do this they may be the best team in the league at playing with a cushion. It plays into everything they want to do on both sides of the ball. If it is close at half time, and we make this a 60 minute game we will win. Denver is a different team playing close games.
