I don't know about "hands down".

Our inability to stop the run got us killed against the Rams, even with a top quality o-line, and played a big role last season against the 49's.

Defensive line is a no-brainer. During the last decade they've had one of the better offensive lines in the league. What did that get them?

If the football gods came to you and told you that you could choose one aspect of the team to improve significantly, but the rest of the team would remain at status quo, what would you choose. Could be the performance of a single player or a particular unit etc. What one single improvement would help the team the most this season?

I could go a couple different ways on this but I'm settling on a much improved run defense.
run defense | interior defensive line.

i really dont think people are trying to be funny with "owner" "front office" "GM" responses. Its the real reason we are so bad year after year. Adding any 1 player (even Mahomes) wont help until Jerry is gone
you dont go 26+ years and kill as many careers as we have unless your front office is as bad as ours. Jerry cares more about money and getting 100% credit for any success than of the team winning. He lost or fired 3 HOF coaches who could only manage a total of 9 seasons with him-less than the decade he gave his pathetic puppet Garrett alone.

Defensive line.

if the cowboys had a dominant DL with everything else they had in place. They would e legit Super Bowl contenders. Even with the other weaknesses.

The low hanging fruit to improve the team is to improve the DTs, and that's been true for years.

Go look at PFF. We don't have a single DI who breaks 60. Our starters are in the 40s.

PFF isn't perfect, but they get the general trend right. We're just bad.

I understand the desire for better management but I'm talking about best chance for success this season. It would take time for a new FO to work its magic.
That’s also what it would take for us to win another SB.

I think the OL is the neediest, especially at backup LT, Center and RT. :omg:

Here's hoping we'll seek help, either before or soon after the final cuts. o_O

Bolster the O-line now! Why do they sit on their hands? JC Tretter available

Do something!

There is literally article after article on this topic and been a talking point all off-season, why do they seem so oblivious and unwilling to improve. Get them here now so this O-line can gel. They are stuck on stupid.

Stephen did bring it up but good Lord. Let’s go make some trades pick someone up

Offensive coaching.
ALL of it.

-Play calling and scheme based on opponent.
-Offensive line philosophy and in game adjustments.
- Run or Pass based offense as an identity.
- Self scouting after each game concentrating on what works and what doesn't based on the personnel you have.

HC involvement in ALL of the above or there's no reason for him to have the job.
