One thing I don't want to hear on offense

I don't want to hear anyone on the offense saying “a lot of this offense looks the same as what we've been doing!" To me has much changed, they'll say it's different verbage, but it's familiar as last year. I think I'll throw up instantly if I hear this!

We need to get as far away as possible from anything that we've been doing, and get some new ideas and concepts in here!! Please give your thoughts

I want more run based offense to take pressure off Dak. I also want to draft offensive lineman or at least bring in some guys in the trenches. I feel we need to keep Dak healthy as possible and take pressure off of him. Love Dak or hate him he is the key to us having offensive success and we need to protect him, aide him and to your point mix things up so defenses won’t be able to guess (as easily as in the past) what we’re doing.

I'm sure we'll run a little more and the scheme will be a little different with Adams, but there's not going to be some radical change on offense. Dak is a huge driver here and he'll mostly get what he wants, which is the same things we've been doing -- the things that make him comfortable.

.....and whilst we undoubtably need to increase the run (even to free up the secondary), what an embarrassment for Jerry and Dak that your top end QB needs so much increased support....indeed he now needs EVERYTHING.

Yep Apparently these days Dak needs a perfect O-line, elite WRs, top 5 ranked defense, sports psychologist, and professional booty wiper to get the job done.

Totally agree but they have to do that and have that mindset, we know what's been working, we realize what could benefit Dak but do they?? Does Jerry want Dak handing the ball off when he's paying him 60 million???

That's it....in 2024 we started running more when Dak went down and of course Jerry had to get his money's worth out of his Zeke.....I bet Jezzah had a fit spending $90m per on a QB and WR1 only to then have to rely on the running game.

As we know Jerry see's everything on getting his money's worth, he doesnt do nuance (nor sense).

Made me think of an English teacher in school (a bit of a drinker, with a bottle of gin under her desk), who when the class was reading a play or novel, would explode when someone misread and would say....."that's it, you cant do it properly, im doing it all".

That's our endgame, when Jerry appoints himself HC.

I think when Mike started calling plays in 2023 and early on the offense wasn’t humming. If you remember we were moving the ball from 20 to 20. Remember the Zona game there? Then all of the sudden a few games in the offense woke up and took off scoring at will? I think that BS helped Mike tweak some stuff allowing it to take off.

as well they should. Patrick Mahomes aside that is the blue print for winning the SB. Having the trenches solid on both sides and be able to run. right now we got weak bookends on the OL. Steele can run block ok but hes hot garbage against the pass especially with the elite pass rushers. Guyton is young but he is also a project. so at least last year the Oloine was a mess.One receiver that could get any kind of separation

Id be cutting Steele but they wont. Its popular on this site to make a thread and outline Dak as the issue where hes only part of the problem. We got talent issues everywhere including the coaching staff. at least the past staff well see what this years does.The defense isn't much better
