One thing I don't want to hear on offense

If he comes to my ranch, you'll never see him again....Hmmm...maybe, I should invite him to come over!
Deer huntin?

Our friends from down that way…Southlake I think….during the Texas Stadium years used to talk about a “deer lease.”

Us Jersey folk didn’t have a clue but we just nodded.

We have a lot of Deer, Nilgai and Boar....not to mention, duck and dove, way down here in the southern tip of Texas.

Honestly the best thing the mods could do for the Troll is let him have his own thread and every time he posts another thread just merge it. That way, any one who does take that troll seriously can interact with him. His own little safe space/prison/phantom zone/cage, whatever term you want to call it. That would be the fairest solution for everybody.
He'll need a padded room and a straight jacket....

I want more run based offense to take pressure off Dak. I also want to draft offensive lineman or at least bring in some guys in the trenches. I feel we need to keep Dak healthy as possible and take pressure off of him. Love Dak or hate him he is the key to us having offensive success and we need to protect him, aide him and to your point mix things up so defenses won’t be able to guess (as easily as in the past) what we’re doing.
Sucks we have the highest paid QB in the league and we're talking about having a run-based offense lol

Truth is, that's our best bet for success though...

I agree 100%, this is why I was so vocal about not resigning him last offseason. I feel like we would be having the same exact conversation right now as far as protecting the QB with a good offensive line and run game if the QB was a rookie or a 2nd year player. And we wouldn’t have one of the worst contracts on the books.

I wasn’t hating on Dak then and I’m not hating on him now. The reality is he has limited arm strength, accuracy, pocket awareness, and locks in on 1 read. That sounds like the resume of developing QB and not a 9 year guy. Also add injury prone to the list. It’s a bummer but it’s what we have for a couple years. But yes, it does suck.

Truly the only way for this to work is have a running based offense committed to getting first downs using all 4 downs to get there. We need to be able to get 2-4 ypc and hope radio can find lamb or ferg to move the chains.

One thing our reetarded little qb can do, and do well, is throw the deep ball. Now we saw a lot last year that he’s added the wrinkle of being afraid to throw the deep ball in play- so we need to account for his timidness to get picked off.

Smash mouth football is the only solution and truly making it annoying to play against the Cowboys.
