One thing I noticed last night about Zeke

Was legit shocked when he got stopped on 3 and 1.

Dude also carries the ball like a duffel bag full of money in a room full of thieves
If you were to genetically try to create a RB Zeke would mostly likely be it. Speed, vision, passing game skills, blocking, knowledge of the game, health, size, his handles on the ball and his attitude.

Imagine a redraft; he and Dak are #1 and #2.

Hopefully, so he doesn't moon the viewing audience. There was a few times yesterday I thought we were about to see plumber crack.

Lol same. Tired of seeing the furry small of his back

:muttley:

.... unless it's because the cameras trailing him to the end zone

Naw, Zeke is definitely confident and cocky. He is no more humble than most NFL players. You like him, so "he's just there to play". He's jawing and celebrating just as much as anyone like Cam Newton does. I have no problem with it.
This.. Zeke gives all his props for his OL, but he not a humble dude on the field. Yesterday was probably a bit different, because of the Dez news, but overall, nah.

The end of this run is not a humble move...and I loved every bit of it.

The way he just runs by and through defenders is absolutely amazing. I've never seen a more perfect all-around RB, ever. He doesn't break stride when side-stepping a guy, and if he can't side-step you, you better man up because he's going to try and run you over and you alone won't take him down. I cannot say enough about Zeke, man. We are insanely lucky a guy such as this fell into our laps. No other RB in the last 20 years fits on this team the way Elliott does.

I don't see it as humble or cocky - just celebratory. He landed hard and did not play much in the few series after that. I was wondering if he was ok.

Oh, there were plenty of buttcrack violations yesterday. Somebody needs to tell Zeke the half-shirt thing is just weird, but the half-pants thing is unacceptable.

I didn't watch him closely in college but definitely saw a number of OSU games. I had no idea he ran with this level of power.

I noticed it was number 23 on Pittsburgh that was talking to Zeke in his face ....... but I also noticed the same 23 helping Zeke up 2 times after runs ..... so they may be fiends in real life.

His acceleration is incredible. He doesn't have the best top end speed, but by the time defenders get to a speed where they can catch up, it's too late.

I watched a lot of his games at OSU, and either did I. I think he just didn't have to use it as much; he was way faster than pretty much every player he saw. He isn't a small guy, though, despite how fast he looks. 5'11" 225 lbs.

The great thing is is that his speed has translated to the NFL. That's probably the biggest worry with RBs coming into the league. Reggie Bush's speed didn't translate all that great. Elliott looks just as fast vs. NFL defenders as he did in college.

When he trucked Cam Chancelor in the pre-season.. that's all I needed to see. I said this guy's a player!

Oh ok. Guess I've never seen it before or quite as much since he started doing it. Despite my tons of sports watching and obsessive media consumption. Thanks for clarifying
I never saw it before Zeke, either. Guess I just haven't paid attention, though it would be hard to not see.
