I am quickly coming to the conclusion either Kellen Moore is in far over his head or being given directions about making sure the QB is the star.

Well, in either case, he can no longer call plays to feature the QB; he must now call them to protect him but that may also present opportunity in that the DC's are not expecting Rush to light it up.

One thing not in his corner is that DC's might sell out to stop the run and force the game into his hands.

However, Cooper Rush does have the two best friends a QB can have, a defense and a run game. Because he doesn't have an OL or WR corps, maybe not even as a passing acquaintance. And he needs Gallup back more than Prescott did.

One thing about it, folks, can't be much worse than that opener because some expectations were high and being the lowest scoring team of the opening weekend stings a little.

Best thing in Rushes' corner is their is Zero expectations of him...

As I have said many times............doesnt matter who you have at WR or QB or RB. If your Oline sucks it doesnt matter. Cooper would not have made a difference.

Pretty much if I am Moore I am running it and short passes. If I am Rush and I get a chance then I am letting it rip down field. Get some PI calls perhaps but stick to the run. Elliot got 10 runs and 5 per carry.. Our Defense is going to need to improve, even put up some points

I remember when Dez was dropping passes. The fans were saying if it hits your hands no matter where you should catch it.

Can you imagine the chaos that would ensue should Cooper Rush take Dallas to a 5-3 or better record while playing well the next 8 games Dak is out? The front office would look ignorant in having given Dak so much money only to watch a back-up QB elevate the team.
