One thing to remember about the Thanksgiving day game

Them losing Demeco Ryans was huge. Casey Matthew, his replacement, really struggles.

They'll probably follow the Washington recipe (and similar to what they did to Manning) and bring a ton of pressure. We'll know early if the OL has gotten through their communication issues in the Skins game and Linehan and company are ready to adjust to the blitz with shorter, crisper routes instead of the deep routes that got Romo killed in that Skins game.

If the OL holds up to the blitzes, Romo, if he's on his game, could drop 350 yards and 4 TDs easily on that secondary.

You would think that would be a no brainer but still some thing it is all about QB, Philly season thus far is more about overall play not great QB play

People are concerned that if Sanchez has a Joe Montana day that the rest of the players and team will just follow suit.

Gotta cut the head off the snake. Regardless of who I say QB, he is the head.

This is how I see the game going. Philly scores a couple td's on some inspired play and some razzle dazzle crap on special teams or something. Then their quick offense works against them keeping their D on the field all day. Dallas' grinds on them and out physicals Philly all afternoon. Murray may run for 200 as Dallas wins 31-20. Murray and Romo will be doing the post game interview once again.

Dallas has to play very good offense and special teams (an area that has been big for philly this year) and last time I checked Sanchez does not play on either of those units. I agree Dallas has to get after the QB I would say that vs any team.

Of courses you would say that. Lol

We have to create enough pressure(not just sacks) and force Sanchez into the b-movie QB he is.

The Giants ran 74 plays on our defense. That worries me having to play the Eagles on a short week. They might want to activate Josh Brent and T McClain for this one.

I would say that because it is true. Sanchez is one part of the equation not the sole equation for their success.

Rod will have them ready to go, I think he lit a fire under them late in the 1st half of last nights game and fully expect him to be all over them heading into this game. From what I read Rod was pretty PO'ed last night after the game

To win, run the ball like we've been doing and force Sanchez to make mistakes. Eagles do not scare me. Not with Foles, and especially not with Sanchez.

Bisaccia and his merry band of misfits need to play lights out in every facet of their game because that's how Philly scores a lot of their points

I watched the Eagles play the last two weeks. I am not impressed. I think Dallas has a better Offense and Defense. Philly's whole game plan is pressure on Defense. They are not great in coverage and not a very sound tackling team either. We must be very careful on Special Teams though.

Our qb has a history of not handling pressure well and the eagles d always has his number...our special teams has been very hit or miss. This will be far from a walk in the park. Plus we saw our defense struggle with hurry up light in NY philli will be much more aggressive. That's the history at least we will see on Thursday if things change

One thing to note and not under-estimate is the fact that Dallas gets to play at home on a short week. Yes-- they traveled home after a late Sun game, but with the way they gutted out a tough road win, the intangibles favor Dallas right now.

I expect them to keep the good mojo going on Thurs. My concerns start again-- as they always seem to-- with the Dec run. Tough road games in Chi and Philly, followed by a tough home test vs Indy-- and we close out on the road (again) in Washington-- who really matches up well against us.

Thurs night is about as close as you can get to a must win game for a team that's 8-3 lol...

I hope Dallas has the day off. Report back tomorrow for some light running, ice tubs, therapy and film work. Wednesday put in the game stuff. No contact this week I hope.

With the new CBA, there is pretty much zero contact in practice these days. It's what they wanted. And some think that's why there are so many injuries.

Yep the defense and Special teams will decide who wins this game.

Also we better be ready for a lot of Blitz's. The eagles love to blitz the linebackers. I hope the Commanders game taught us something

The Giants blitzed and got burned on the Beasley TD. After that, they stuck to rushing 4 and we all saw how that worked out for them at the end.

If the Eagles blitz, it's up to Romo and the WR's to beat it. Once you burn them a couple of times, they will back off. This is something the offense will need to stress this week.

I believe I read somewhere they are practicing at 4.
