I've missed it greatly but the worst drought of my life is right here at home, no rain of substance since last October and over 50 days of 100 + degree weather.

I was just thinking the same thing. The offseason is over. We're now in the routine of waiting a week between games.

Can't wait to see Jake and the Fat Man leading the troops.

I really liked the later free agency (just not what the Eagles did). In fact, it should be permanent. Move draft to early April and have free agency start sometime in early to mid-May.

So did I. It allowed you to draft smarter (I think) and then use FA to actually fill needs.

Or like the Eagles, attempt to buy contention with 2 players and some fill ins.

It still doesn't seem real. I just can't believe we're actually playing a game in a week. We don't even have the team put together yet.

Let me just say, I need to see Dez. Since that Indy game, I feel like I have been in withdrawal. Watching his rookie highlights and thinking he was just a rookie. This guy is electrifying.

I think I'm one of the few who enjoy pre-season games. I like getting to watch all the young guys I never get to see.
