A young man has been lost due to an accidental discharge of a firearm. Austin Hedrick a student at Bunker Hill High School in North Carolina late last Friday night.

The students remember him wearing his Tony Romo jersey faithfully and would get on the school bus after a Cowboys win and exclaim " How Bout Them Cowboys"

He was born after our Cowboys last glory days which makes this young man even more impressive to me. He got to see his Cowboys start 5-1 on this new season and everyone within earshot knew it. lol!!

The Bunker Hill community has expressed interest in this extreme long shot to have his name and picture announced before The Cowboys next game at AT&T stadium. Kinda fitting as the Cowboys Vs Commanders games were his favorite of the year.

They would like the text to read "#keepheavendancing" He loved to dance and it didn't matter how bad he was at it. It was his dream to one day be at a Cowboys game.

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

I had a friend in High School that was killed from an accidental discharge of a firearm. He and his Dad found it in the Grandparents garage and somehow it discharged. We were on the 9th grade football team together at the time.

Good friend of mine is from Catawba. I'm sure Woody's Girl can help with a pic. I would like to see it.
If you get up with Hoss he may be able to help you. Rough edges big heart.

There's a lot of tentacles to the team in here - somebody might be able to do something.

What a tragic story.

yeah, the story touched me. I live about 20 miles from him and got to see him play once as our Freedom Patriots traveled to play a non-conference game. He had 12 tackles and a Forced fumble in that game.
