Anyone know how/if its possible to record live online streams and watch them later

Seems doubtful to me at least without significant tech knowledge and perhaps some special equipment.

a buddy of mine uses a program called "fraps" to record footage of pc games he plays... you could probably just use that to record while you have the stream on full screen. It would probably be a large video file so make sure you have the hard drive space for it.

I can tell you right now that if you fraps a video for 3-4 hours we're talking about a few hundred gig video file probably.

Yep. Will fry your hard drive and memory.

bmzt31 your best bet is to download the torrent later.

I have a sports site that uploads all sporting events for downloads. Ill send it to you in a pm if you are interested.

You can use a screen recorder such as Bandicam or something that captures streaming media like Replay Media Catcher. If you use, RMC, the game will probably end up being about 1gb. If you use bandicam, probably about somewhere below 10gb.
