At least Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys franchise worked hard for years and rightfully deserved this very rare accomplishment. For years, Dak with the help of the Dallas Cowboys organization, front office personnel, coaches, players family members, sponsors and community have put in the time, dedication and hard work to help save lives, address illnesses and help children, the sick, the elderly, the needy and uplift his community and surrounding communities. This is such an honorary but rare award that every Cowboys fans should be proud of. There are so many fans from all other 31 NFL teams and other sports worldwide who are happy and proud for Dak and the Dallas Cowboys for such an honorary and well deserved award.

Yet, to some Cowboys fans, it's only a lame participation trophy?

Om not trashing Dak or what he accomplished off the field. It's all great.

But I want NFC Championships and Super Bowls. Mahomes is a great guy. But he wins championships

Dak is a great guy. Good for him. And good for those he helps.

But this does little or nothing for me. I'm looking for championships

I think in all the years I’ve covered the league, 39 of them, I’ve never seen a better, more sincere speech for winning the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year than the one Dak Prescott gave Thursday. It was beautiful. The everlasting influence of his late mother and his devotion to do something fruitful to commemorate his brother’s life after he committed suicide both show the kind of person he is. The NFL absolutely got Man of the Year right this year.

Until one jerry jones decides to hang it up you are most likely to be dissapointed. Adjust your expecations and youll enjoy it more I did and have.

Take the high ground? For the Eagles? For what? So their fans feel betteR? Naw.....I'd rather match their scum though I never could they are on a whole different level.

unfortunately for the foreseeable future that’s as close to getting a trophy in the SB as we will ever get.
