Only 20% of teams that are 2-3 make playoffs

did you watch the Giants destroy the 49er's today on the west coast.....that team is on a roll and coming to Dallas in two weeks where they're undefeated in Jerry world

Yes I saw the Giants. The same Giants that lost to Philly who lost to Detroit and Pittsburgh.

I also saw the Bills who beat the Cardinals who got whipped by 49ers the week before.

Any team can win in the NFL so unless you have a crystal ball, I will stay optimistic that this division is still winnable for any team.

that was a good effort out there though, would like to see that every week.

So who is better in the AFC?

Patriots, who lost against Arizona and Seattle? Nope!
Cincinnati, Ravens won against them 44-13. Nope!
Pittsburgh, really ? Nope!
San Diego, my money would be on the Ravens. Nope!

Maybe Denver, when the Defense and Manning shows up, but after that I don't see anything.

The Texans aren't so bad.

If I can remember, he was making a debate for the 2nd best team in the AFC. I may be wrong.

My bad. I thought he was inquiring about any team better than the Ravens.

Exactly, you dont rebuild when your core players only have a couple of seasons left in the tank.

Besides, Jerry himself said the window is closing fast. That doesnt sound like a rebuild job to me.

Yea the Cowboys aren't necessarily old. Once you go behind Ware, Romo and Witten, this team is relatively young. But if you were rebuilding then those guys wouldn't be your core and they wouldn't be here. Rebuilding is something fans use to cope with this team playing poorly or underachieving. Whichever one you think is the problem.

Guys, we almost won against arguably the 2nd best team in the AFC (only behind Houston). Every other AFC Team is 3-3 or worse. So a lot of teams are looking at .500 or worse, even in the NFC. I know we need to start winning games but this thing is far from over.

Awesome. We ALMOST won a game. How many ALMOST wins get us to the playoffs?

In Jerry's world, almost counts in horseshoes, handgrenades, and football games.

Oh, and getting married.

Its not about "ALMOST" winning though. Its about how we looked. We looked like we could compete with one of the best teams in the AFC. WE knew this road trip would be hard. I don't think anyone expected us to look good.

umm only 35% of teams make the playoffs of all the teams as it is.

people have no sense of relativity that is for sure.

I remember you after the TB game. Do you remember your take then?

We have hit rock-bottom when our fans are just happy that we didn't lose by much. Some are just happy not to get blown out.

Even The Great Jason Garrett himself said that the goal was a Super Bowl this year

He doesn't know that the team is in rebuilding mode. Jerry doesn't know either.

Good point. Seems like they are trying to rebuild while also keeping the older stars. At some point they might want to unload one or two of the latter for young blood, but I don't have a lot of confidence in the current management to make the right moves in such a case.
