That means 27 have not.
The Cowboys defense ranked at the top or near the top entering last weeks game in scoring defense. Some of our points have been attributed to our defense, so if you’re trying to give the offense props you failed. By the way, how’s your man Deuce doing? No one anointed him more than you did prior to the season. Lol

This does not mean very much. The consistent thing about Quinn's defense is that they aren't great at getting stops without turnovers. First two games we had a lot of turnovers and without those Arizona was moving the ball well enough to get points on each drive early in the game. With those turnovers and increased opportunities the offense generated more points, but mostly in the form of FG's. Without those turnovers and extra opportunities, poor red zone play resulted in not generating enough points.

So the defense needs to be able to get stops without turnovers and the offense needs to figure out how to get back to what it was best in the league in the last two years.

OP I think you’re over reaching here at what point you’re trying to make.

Is the point the Dallas offense is good? Don’t forget it wasn’t just them that put up the 40 points against the giants and it wasn’t like Dallas had to start from their own 10 yard line every drive. The defense set them up well and so did special teams.

I think this offense is average. Nothing more nothing less. AVERAGE.

26 teams* as the Chargers have also scored 86 points.
well, chargers scored 86 offensive points. we have scored 72. still good. puts us in the top 12.

if we fixed the redzone issues, we could easily be #2. it would be hard to beat dolphins after that 70 point outburst.

Two teams, the Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers, have scored more total team points than Dallas: 130 to 86 and 90 to 86, respectively. One team, the Philadelphia Eagles, has scored less team points than Dallas: 86 to 84.

Two observations can be made from these specific teams that are not shared by Dallas. One, all three teams remain unbeaten unlike Dallas. And two, since they are all undefeated at 3-0, none of them have lost to a last place divisional opponent.

The 49ers play last place NFC West divisional Arizona this week. Perhaps Arizona will put together two upsets in a row. Then Dallas and San Francisco can have matching 'lost to a last place team' records. Whether they end Week 4 with identical 3-1 records is still to be determined.

And which of those two teams will have the most points after four games? Stay tuned.

How many have 13 penalties in one game, and got bludgeoned by Joshua Dobbs? You are aware that the Giants have given up 30 or more point to every team played so far this year, right?

Is this a thread to make us feel good? Not really sure the point you're trying to make
even with the red zone issues we're still scoring points the problem is we could be scoring more points but here something to think about when you're missing 3 starting offensive Pro Bowl lineman that's a problem for any offense you're not gonna be able to move the ball they're gonna play four man front they're gonna play heavy zone in the back everyone's gonna be covered..

First game was on the road in the rain on grass they weren't gonna take any chances, the second game as bad as you think The Jets are they have one of the top defense in the league still especially when it comes to the red zone

so his point is our offense is very good and it hasn't even hit its peak or its stride yet and it will it's new IT just started but each game has been different this isn't just all the offense sucks and they can't score points in a red zone..

There have been plenty of reasons why we have not scored more points but the fact is we're still on pace to be a above average offense but if we mature in peak we're still gonna be a very good to great offense when things come together it starts up front with the line we still haven't had our five starters together yet..

So I believe that is the point he's making people are exaggerating putting all the blame on the offense or the play calling or the quarterback or the single interception thrown all year long when that's not the case the defense blew that game the penalties blew that game in Arizona..

Right it's average now but it has a chance to be very good to weigh above average we have yet to hit our peak how do you trying to tell people to stop exaggerating that they think that we can't score we will eventually get it together every game had its own issues..

I’ll give it to you, key word probably. On a good day, above average. Don’t forget if we’re trying to set a new standard for these guys to win a Super Bowl our standards have to be an offense that can out score the eagles IF IT HAD TO

Huh? Why on earth do I care which side of the ball they were on when my point has nothing to do with this? The TEAM had 13 penalties not the O or D. Rambo must have a burner account on here
The discussion is about offense not thee whole

The Discussion is on Offense, so let's focus on that. You brought up the penalties, how many of the 13 penalties were on the offense?

I have zero clue what point he is trying to make, as he has yet to even try to make one. Sure OL injuries are an issue, and here is a news flash...they will continue all year with this aged group we have. Fact is we have up pts against the Giants and Cardinals, and our D was the force against the Jets. As long as we rely upon our D to score points the numbers may look pretty in the end, but through 3 weeks we have nothing really to show except FG"s except weather and a team who has a good D. As pathetic as the D was on Sunday, we put up 16 pts! That is the stat that matters

How many points has this offense put up on their own? Our first two games wins/pts were atrributed to our defense. Neither Dak or our offense had to do anything else much. Sunday our D was awful and our O was unable to bail them out with even just putting up a 30 burger. Our offense wasn't rolling first two weeks but our defense took care of things. Our defense wasn't rolling Sunday, and our offense did nothing against an awful football team. Lots more to this discussion than just a number
