that is really, really thin. i bet we see a veteran signed to this group.
 
#8 is on NFI/Pup

Butler would probably stay on as an ILB, if injuries mount in a game. He's going to be a 5th LB in Rob's schemes anyway.

I doubt it, plus we have Carter is on the PUP list so it's really 8.. we have a bye week early so in five weeks carter will be back
 
You have to remember...this is not your standard 3/4 defense. This is some sort of hybrid defense that Ryan is putting together.

Also, the team may pick up another one, maybe two...

It's not over yet.

There is some potential for later alterations to the 53-man group:

1. When MartyB comes back, Rucker may get waived.

2. They trade Choice

3. One of the 3 kickers claim a job

4. Carter will get activated week 6, then someone will have to be released.
 
Make that six. No way Brooking lasts the year injury wise and isnt a complete liability versus the pass.
