Only 75 days until real NFL football starts for the Cowboys with their Thursday night national kickoff against Brady and the Bucs. Two months and some change until real football with fans in the stands and meaningful games return.

Training camp starts in 27 days. Meh. I mean I guess it’s the start of football. But I can do without some national or local beat writer telling us some spare bottom of the depth chart UFA who will never play a down of meaningful football, is “having a great camp”, lol. TC has its purposes, but count me skeptical about how “great” someone is in drills.

For me, until there are live bullets in games that matter, we don’t really know what kind of team we really have or how these new young players are going to shake out.

In 75 days, it all starts. Can’t wait. Bring it.

Was trying to use hindsight for a scenario to move up for Pitts, the (semi) rational side of my brain refused to cooperate.
