What is clear is all of today's events did really is polarize opinion.

Those who would never believe a single word other than what they delightfully gobble up from a notoriously misinformed and agenda-driven media are still quite bitter and anxious to believe whatever they can to keep their view intact. And that includes overutilization of a police report even the department itself won't defend.

Those who may have been seeing the behavior of the media and contrasting that with the facts involving Owens over the last few months are contrite and might actually have experienced an epiphany.

While i don't believe he did try to committ suicide, I do think that something is a little fishy with the publicist.......I think a lot of this has to do with her losing control when she was in the situation so I think that some of the blame has to fall on her shoulders.

What's also clear is that TO practiced less than 24 hours after being admitted to the hospital. No way does a suicide attemptor have the mental stamina to do that; and if he did in fact have his stomach pumped, then there's no way he would have the physical stamina to return to practice as quickly either.

Facts are facts and the media are mediots.

I have news for you: police departments don't generally defend their reports.
So the department's non-statement is not news and, in fact, is very common.

I am in no way a great fan of T.O., but I found myself thinking that if this whole thing today isn't true, there are some serious apologies that are due to him. This was one day when I was actually on T.O.'s side.
