Forget what you think you know after game 1.
Rush is a long step down from Dak.
Our receivers were NOT running free in the TB secondary, and when a guy down the progressions had a little room, the pass rush was already moving both Dak and Rush off their marks. Our QB and WRs will struggle against the umbrella the Bengals put out there with their safeties.

Kellen Moore MUST run the ball a lot, even when we are gaining only 3 yards.
The game plan MUST incorporate both of our TEs much more often in the passing game….size is better than 3rd tier WRs without speed. Two TEs, two WRs, 1 RB…..sometimes Two TEs, 1 WR, 2 RBs with Pollard in the pass game.

I’d love to see Pollard on the wheel route from the slot or motion after the WR clears it out and Zeke sneaking out into the flat underneath him.

I’m ok running 3 downs sometimes with Rush. Let’s at least try to out physical some teams. Maybe it will help us get tougher and better for the future.

Run the damn ball. And some quick passes. If Brady can throw in 2 seconds why can’t we? Ok. But we can try.

Trubisky is similar to Rush. Not going to win any games.

For Pittsburgh to win, they needed 3 picks, 1 FF, a blocked XP at the end of regulation, a missed kick in regulation and a shanked FG at OT.

Steelers had no reason to win.

We won’t win this game. It’s not the end of the world. Gallup and Washington will be back soon. We should get back to 1-2, 2-2 hopefully.

Rush is throwing the ball. The Bengals will play the run, Rush will throw the ball all of the game for a win.
Awuzie practiced against Rush for a few seasons. I am sure he is telling them not to worry. This is what gives me hope we can steal the win

I agree rush is going to have to throw and fairly often. Bad news is the guy has a bit of a noodle for an arm and can look like a statue in the pocket. The good news is the guy seems to have more guts than talent and won’t hesitate to sling the rock downfield and give guys a chance to make a play.

We probably need a couple turnovers from the defense but rush gives us a punchers chance for a W.

You know who sees a chance? The CIN DL because Rush is a sack waiting to happen. Just because Zimmer played him all wrong, and deserved to be fired for that, doesn't mean other DC's won't take advantage.

The Cowboys better have 2 QB's ready to go.

Cincy will load the box and stuff the run. They will dare Rush to beat them from the pocket. Anybody with a brain would.
Would you? I wouldn’t. I’d bracket Ceedee and play the two deep zone which is their bread and butter. There’s no proof we can run it consistently vs a 7 man or even 6 man front. They will do what I’d do….play to not give up the home run ball. Make Moore call a conservative game plan and run the ball 25-30 times, which he won’t do. Make Rush be accurate on the underneath stuff, and dare us to do all of that without penalties….lol. No way they load up on the Dallas run game and risk giving us an easy TD.

The entire world knows this except Kellen Moore.

Kellen Moore does not know what ... run the ball ... means.
He thinks it means, let the QB run away fro the defenses, then pass the ball.

Give it to Pollard and you can avoid that 3 ypc average.

And get 1.3 YPC from him, when Zeke got 5.2.
Oh, Pollard had 6 carries for 8 yards, 1.3 average

Yep, one game. 6 carries isnt much. He also lost 10 yards on that stupid double reverse. Great way to kill an average.

But we have 3 years of history dont we?

Yeah, we hope. I thought they were going to do a lot more 12 personnel in week 1.
