And that is Washington Week 6 in Dallas.

About as close to ideal as you get in those instances. We played two teams (@ Car, vs Cle) off of bye weeks in 2012, with Cleveland certainly coming to play harder than most expected.

Not only that, we have extended breaks (10-14 days) before 2 tough road games... at NYG and at CHI. I love that.

Both great points.

What a huge, huge game that will be.

The last time the Commanders came into Dallas as division champions to face a good Cowboys team was Opening Day 1992.

One more thing I like... our two toughest opponents (Denver and Green Bay) are home games. Philly got stuck with having to play them both on the road :lmao2:

Yeah we pretty much got every break this season we have never gotten before. We open at home, which rarely happens anymore. We close on the road, which rarely happens anymore. Our bye is late in the season, which is ideal. Not early like it has been lately when you don't need it at all yet.

One thing I don't like is why 8 of the last 10 years, we get the Skins game on the road for the second game? We never get them to play them on the road early in the year when the weather is nicer and get to finish up with them late in the year on the road.

The best part of the schedule for me is the game Sept. 15th in Kansas City. I will be able to go to that game!!!! :)

Giants also play both at home and I don't like it. You want your home games to be winnable so you aim to win at least 7 at home and snatch 3 on the road.

But with teams Denver and Green Bay, you might lose 2 home games and might need to win 4 games on the road to make the play offs. But that's just me. One might argue the opposite

This team has positively SUCKED with extended time off. Despite what one would expect.

We only face one team that is coming off of a bye. Last year we faced two.

He doesn't mean "coming off the Cowboys' bye". He means "one one team plays us the week after THEIR bye." You could in theory play many games like that during the season.

So what happens if we fix the O-line and have the easiest schedule and still miss the playoffs?

A new head coach

Oct 06 - Nov 10 will be a tough part of the schedule with the Eagles appearing to be the easiest on the schedule.

Then the month of Dec.

I don't see this as being cake at all.
