The defense set the team up to win multiple times but the offense just couldn't close the deal.

This loss was on both sides. It would have been nice for the defense to get a stop every time but they did get several.

I don't know how someone can call:
- A pick 6 in overtime
- Yet another INT in your own half leading to a TD
- A 27 second 3 and out with the game on the line and another 3 an out to start the 4th
a strong performance.

This is the NFL. You can't just keep hanging your defense out to dry and expect to win. I'm not absolving the defense here but the offense was just dumb to end the game, much like they were against Green Bay.

As I said in other threads, Parcells used to be huge on field position, ball control, clock management, etc. He was great at taking the air out of the ball once he had a lead. He did that despite frequently having great defenses. You just can't be a moron on offense and expect your D to bail you out every week (like they did against Houston with that goal line stop after an INT). Moore and McCarthy are just terrible at this stuff.

That call by Kellen Moore which led to Dak to bouncing a good pass off Noah Brown, resulting in an INT-TD...

Should lead to the firing of the entire Dallas coaching group. Immediate execution as well, along with all players.

Pass Deflections are mortal crimes and must be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Who can doubt it? As the game was tied in overtime we should have just deflated the ball and crawled into a fetal position.

We were up 27-17 when Dak threw that terrible pick deep in our territory and set them up to pull within 3. The defense also got key stops after we took back the lead with 1:34 left to play. Offense and Dak did nothing. Then, the defense got the stop on first drive in OT setting us up so all we needed was a FG. Offense...well you saw it. Yeah, defense deserves a good portion of the blame, but get the hell out of here with the idea the offense and Dak didn't contribute to the loss at key points in the game.

I'll say this for tge final time

Dak had THREE chances to end this game, 3 times tge d gave him the ball back by stopping the jags and 3 times he FAILED TO EITHER SCORE or run out the clock.......that's not what top qbs do.

The game was completely decided quite early in the 4th quarter. Bengals are two tiers better as a team. Not sure a "time clinic" had much to do with it.

Anyways...just my opinion.
I say clinic from this standpoint.......when there was a need to gain a first down......a safe pass was implemented. Joe Burrows & company didn't seek some big play. It was methodical.......simply move the chains to get another set of downs and continue to run clock. We didn't see some bunch package or trickeration.

The ball was tipped which probably explains why it was anywhere near Noah Brown, as opposed to behind him, as it was a late delivery and Dak’s mechanics were horrible and so was his pocket presence that led the INT. Dak had no reason to roll left and into the line, to then have to jump as he had plenty of room in the pocket to step up.

Let’s also not act like Jaguars defense didn’t contribute to our offense scoring. Jaguars fumbled in their own territory and they then had a PI on a 3rd in 1 in the first half.

Dak sucked in the third quarter when the Jaguars started coming back, including throwing a bone headed pick the second series after the defense intercepted it in Jacksonville territory when up 24-10. The series prior to that was a 3 play drive, meaning Dak couldn’t even convert a first down.

The Cowboys D gave up 7+/tote while being held to under 4/tote. That in and of itself is a big problem, particularly when you run on nearly 60% of your plays. Lawrence's arm talent came up huge in that game with the Cowboys pass rush having very little impact on the game. Check mate.

If you look at my post, nowhere did I use the term "Dak". I said "offense", just like you started the thread with. Is Brown not on the offense?

Regardless, one interception isn't the end of the world. Lots of interceptions are a big problem. Had the offense just done one of:
- Not had the first INT
- Not had the second INT
- Not gone 3 and out late
- Not done that stupid *** throw on 3rd down on the 3 and out
Dallas would have won.

The offense can't keep doing this crap. They just had the defense bail them out from an INT last week or this would be a 2 game losing streak to Houston and Jacksonville.

Again, I have no issue with criticizing the defense. They have up 3 TD's on 70+ yard drives. That sucks. I just think the offense deserves some heat for too many turnovers and too many 3 and outs late in games.

Yeah we put up alot of points, it's not like Jacksonville has a great or even good defense themselves

Most Offense-Created Points This Weekend
Vikings, 39
Dallas, 34
Jacksonville, 34

Bengals, 34
Bills, 32
Chiefs, 30

*Colts only had one offensive TD, and bunch of field goals.

Already this weekend eleven teams have failed to score more than 20!

Trying to hang this loss on Dak or Kellen Moore is childish. Cowboys offense was strong...but lost because of poor defense.
Trevor Lawrence's defense gave up 34 too.

Anyone blaming the OT pick six on Dak is either agenda-driven or clueless. The ball bounced off Brown's chest.

Low throw in traffic. Brown should've caught it, but Dak should make better decisions, and better throws. And stop with the agenda crap. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and being critical of play doesn't mean anything.

Stop riding his jock every game…. The ball was tipped and his delivery was late and his mechanics and pocket presence was garbage, which contributed to the ball getting tipped. If it didn’t get tipped, it probably would have been behind Brown.

The team just didn't get it done. Thats the bottom the line. We can point to every part of the team as making a critical mistake. The game is 4 quarters and we didn't show up for the 3rd one. If it was just one problem, it would be easy to fix.

Bengals, Niners, Eagles are teams that are built to make the long run. Mahomes and KC as well. Bills are teetering, but they could make a run with Allen. Thats pretty much it right there.

Dak has 7 INTs in his last 4 games. This is what happens when he starts thinking he is an elite QB. He is a bus driver.

We already knew this L was on the defense.
It's on both sides of the ball. D got a takeaway with a little over one minute to go which should have been game over, they also held Jville on their first OT possession, which allowed Dak to win the game, er, I mean, throw a pick six. So yeah, defense sucks, I've been all over Dan Quinn because of our D, but the O is just as culpable in this loss. They couldn't control the clock in the 2nd half to help the D out.
