Said this in the thread, our only hope left is for this franchise to become irrelevant. That would bother Jerry more than anything. Stop spending 2 hours of every morning show talking about the cowboys. Us fans don’t care anymore. We just want change. Even negative publicity is publicity. The morning shows spent two hours a day talking about a team meeting they had. If nobody is talking about the cowboys that will bother Jerry much more than losing does.

Irrelevant to the media. It wasn’t always this way, when the cowboys were 5-11 under Dave campo they weren’t the talk of everyone. They were irrelevant.

It has already become irrelevant to so many DFW area sports fans who are under 35. My three sons grew up in a Cowboys household have considered this franchise a joke for the last decade or more.

Most young Cowboys fans (or former Cowboys fans) have never seen the glory days.

The thing that saves Jerry re: relevance is the number of fans outside of the Dallas area.

They love to crush the cowboys because of name recognition, and past history so teams will always get up to play against the cowboys especially when they are on primetime half the season

Told my Cowboy hater friend tonight nothing would make me more happy than if tomorrow no one talks about the Cowboys. Not ESPN not the NFL Network no one. Just show the highlights and talk about the other teams. Treat us like the Titans or any team not doing so well. That would help because Jerry only cares about them talking about us.

The entire franchise is the Kardashians: zero talent, famous for being famous. The reality show keeps drawing clicks/views and that's all ownership and the spoiled actors care about. This is not a football organization, it's an entertainment enterprise in the NFL.

We will be the Toronto Maple Leafs with corporate sponsors, and fans still shelling out money for the seat licenses while reminiscing about when we won it all 40-70 years ago.

Not gonna happen in my lifetime. Too many casuals being merch. Too many corporations buying tickets so they can entertain clients and "reward" employees. The media loves to build this team up in the offseason only to tear it down during the season. Too many people hate the Cowboys enough to watch all these "morning pizza sports talk shows" in hopes of spewing negativity about the time while the homers lie in wait to defend it.

It's all a vicious cycle that's not stopping any time soon.

Here’s the thing, fans hate the cowboys when they are good/decent. At what point with 3 non playoff seasons in a row do opposing fans just become indifferent. As I mentioned earlier my family and friends that used to make fun after another horrible loss don’t even bother anymore.

This team used to be a fun hobby for me.

They've become a source of negativity and frustration. The ride is not fun, and hasn't been for 3 years now.

Intelligent people would advise leaving this toxic relationship.

Ill never leave, but I'm going to need to step back, and watch from afar. All it is now is my weekly 3 hours of rage baiting.
