Only thing that matters is next week

It is the same old story of this pathetic, mediocre team. We only beat weaker teams (and sometimes not even that) The niners are going to beat us. Plain and simple
guess theres no need to watch and root then right?

The Jerry quote is right on the front page of this forum but ok.
And yet it's not on this thread or was provided within his post so get over it put your head in the hole do whatever it is you think you're doing here but without context there's no trap there's no bait there's just a useless hollow post that I posted to and there you go..

I am not getting hyped over a blowout win over the Pats. If they lose next week it will mean the team can beat the Jets, Pats, and Giants but not the team who is actually good.......The Niners. They win next week they we can talk about something but until then we just ACCEPT the win and get ready for next week
The only thing that matters in football is to end up with one more point than your opponent every week. Beating the 49ers is irrelevant than making the playoffs and winning a NFC Championship. That is how you get to the Super Bowl.

These are the statement weeks.

Week 1 @NYG, week 1 statement that they are a real contender
Week 2 NYJ, beat Rodgers the Cowboy killer. Didn't happen.
Week 5 @SF, team that has eliminated Dallas the last two years.
Week 6 @LAC, Kellen Moore
Week 9 @PHI, for division
Week 14 PHI, for division
Week 15 @Buffalo, AFC SB contender
Week 16 @ MIA, great offense, contender
Week 17 DET, the black horse team in NFC.

Dallas is 2-0 so far, but a win this week would catapult them into the favorite position.

These are the games to gauge Dallas by.

We have to show we are a contender. If they lose a close one that will be ok with me. I expect us to win. We need to show we belong with top teams.

Would you take a loss in October and then beat San Fran in January? I know I would. They need to put up a very solid effort on Sunday night. At least show themselves that they can compete on a big stage. As a bonus, Sunday would be a great night to knock Purdy and CMC out for the season.
And we can suppose there's a 49ers fan, or two - like you - that hopes their team puts Prescott and Pollard\or Lamb on IR for the rest of 2023.
SMH

Honestly.... at least for me I admit to have given up on this team.
25 years of the same story has had it's toll on me and my faith
I think a lot of us can share similar stories . I still root hard on Sunday but I’m not Super Bowl or bust I enjoy the ride

I don’t get too up or too down and the playoff exits sting initially but are forgotten soon

When and if we get that Lombardi I’ll enjoy it as much as the next guy but the days of me losing sleep on this team are done

Skelator has damaged a once proud franchise but I’ll never give up my fandom

Grow up. Do you honestly think theres not thousands of fans in Philly and San Fran who rejoiced when Diggs when down for the season. Sell your virtue signaling somewhere else. SMH at you

So you feel good in joining in with others in wishing injuries to other team's players to enhance the Cowboys' chances this season?

Enjoy yourself.

Here's some advice for you. When coming onto a message board. Try not to think about what the "Kool kids" are saying, instead gather "YOUR" thoughts and articulate them

You'll have not only a more fruitful message board experience, but your overall Social Media experience as well.

Naw, the direction from beating a game New England team is to kick San Francisco's butt...no excuses going in.

Every year is the same. Of course we want to win every game. We want to see Dallas play perfectly and dominate. That would be great.

But every year the teams that seem to go far are teams that are peaking at the perfect time, playing their best in the last month. We have a new OC, a new play caller, and some new position coaches. We have mostly new OL depth guys, new starting TE, a new WR. We have 1 new CB in Gilmore and lost Diggs, but other than Mazi, the defense is basically the same guys and coaches.

Maybe we stay healthy at key positions; maybe we don’t. Maybe we start putting it all together this week; maybe we don’t. All I know is whether we win the division or not, whether we start a winning streak or a losing streak, I’m with this team all the way. If we make the playoffs and get hot at the right time, we can win it all. That’s a fact.

Well, you have a 50/50 chance of being right, but sounds like a 100% chance of being miserable and posting something negative after the game….lol. Some call it realism; I call it hopeless misery.

I have even tried not watching the games, getting interested in other teams for games but I cant LOL.... I was, am and ALWAYS will be a fan.
But the FACT IS, ever since Jimmy Johnson left, it has been a steady decline. The team Switzter won was by innertia and becaue of the players that team had.

Jerry Jones is the common factor and the cancer of this ONCE proud franchise.
We live in the past and of past glories. A true great team validates and reaffirms it`s greatness. The argment that "winning in the NFL is not easy" is old and cheap.

We have gotten used to being middle of the pack as a fanbase (NOT MYSELF) and the standard HAS been lowred for us. THAT IS THE TRUTH OF IT ALL

A loss in October guarantees nothing. This take that a loss in October for a win in January is nonsense.
