Op-Ed: Should Cowboys fish around Chiefs' Aaron Murray to follow Romo?

The Dallas Cowboys are in dire straits if they truly believe Kellen Moore is the answer. Should franchise QB Tony Romo miss time in 2016, it may be time to think outside the box.

The club took no action on then-available free-agent quarterback Colt McCoy, failed to secure a deal with Matt Moore, and are showing no interest in players like Josh McCown or Brian Hoyer, which may mean they erroneously believe in Kellen Moore’s viability.

Unless they already realize the obvious . . . Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Aaron Murray could be the true Romo heir-apparent...

No. I thought we were happily done with the Aaron Murray fixation. If he were any good, he'd be challenging for the starting job in KC.

I thought Chiefs fans weren't too thrilled with Murray, either. Did I get that wrong?
