Assume you're joking.
Hope so...if not...
Overpaying is overpaying.
They could have paid Murray if they wanted to pay that crazy price. They didn't. Do t blame Romo for that.

It was about guaranteed money. Not price point per year. We guaranteed him a bucket of chicken and a bag of twinkies.

I dont think anyone is blaming romo but he shouldn't cry about it while making 17 million. Same for Dez and Murray. It's a buisness, both ways. But don't cry about it or get upset when we leave because we don't have the cap space because romo and dez are over 30 million vs the cap.

Remember when Jerry said he feels responsible for wasting Romo's career by not providing him with a team to win the SB? I think that thought still there and he will make sure nothing missed….I expect good news before the draft team-wise

Most excellent point.

Yes, because Murray is the only RB in the league who knows how to block.

I'm pretty sure I never said that. Thanks for attempting to put words in my mouth.

I believe in risk but risk when the QB we're hanging our hopes on is inside of a two year twilight window? Quite a risk. Like I said, I hope it all works out. The last thing I want to see is Romo spread eagle.

constantly amazes me how creative the romo haters can get - finding ways to attack him while supposedly talking about someone else.

Each day this week this metaphorical "window" has gotten a year shorter. Tuesday we were talking about four years. Then it was three. Now suddenly the window is down to two years. Based on what? Based on Romo actually being the healthiest he has been in probably four years? Based on having the best line in football locked up for the next three years?

Where is this magical "two year" window coming from?

The odds that the Cowboys can replace Demarco Murray's production with a solid draft pick and/or FA this year combined with the efforts of RBs already on their roster - are a lot shorter than the odds that they could replace the production of Tony Romo with a solid draft pick and/or FA combined with the efforts of QBs already on the roster. And I do mean A LOT SHORTER.

And that is why top-tier QBs like Romo make cartoon money. Heck, even mediocre QBs are getting insane contracts nowadays. It's a sad fact. But IT IS a fact. Seen some the guy's other teams are starting at QB the last decade? My goodness, regardless of the talent level of the rest of their team, they NEVER HAD A CHANCE.

It is, without any shadow of a doubt, the most important position in all of pro sports.

Last time I checked we draft 3 offensive lineman in the first round the last 4 years.

If we need our HB to keep our QB upright, then we didnt do to well with those picks

I'm keeping track of you professional Madden players who apparently have a hard time understanding football.

I'm sure they wish him well. But at least for Romo, Murray is also a personal friend.

Based on what "I" have consistently been saying, it has been and is two years. Feel free to use the search option.

True,but for the record...
DeMarco Murray can't replace Murray production from 2014.

Every year, the same guys dang near jump off of a ledge because a player left the Cowboys, because they're such loyal fans.

I guess Murray gave some fans a lesson on loyalty.

He could've gone to any team, yet Murray CHOSE to go to our most hated divisional rival. Again, he purposely CHOSE to do it, so he's not only sticking it to the Cowboys, he's sticking it to Cowboys fans — even some of the same, loyal fans who are crying over him leaving.

He clearly doesn't care how we, as fans, feel, so I don't care about him.

Loved him when he wore the star…despise him now that he's a disgusting Eagle. Good riddance.
