Thought I'd post this for the Gaither lovers out there. :) As per theredzone.org,

Cowboys could target a restricted free agent tackle to replace Flozell Adams

Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports the Cowboys haven’t ruled out going after a restricted free agent to replace LT Flozell Adams. Keep an eye on Jared Gaither (Ravens), Jammal Brown (Saints) and Donald Penn (Bucs), who could each end up with the Cowboys before the draft.

I haven't really followed D Penn at all.

Donald Penn would be worth every penny & draft pick it takes to get that dude. Put Free over at RT and watch the offense fly.

I'd be happy to get Penn at a reasonable price.

Jason La Canfora, of the NFL Network, reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers OT Donald Penn has lost 35 pounds during the offseason. He finished the season at 370 pounds and is currently 335 pounds.

Seems more like an OG at that size. He's huge.

How is this throwing yourself out there? No mention at all of what they may offer to get there, just that they MAY be looking. What a non-informative wad of crap from La Canfora.

Just found this on my travels.....

Saints | J. Brown could be part of deal at draft

I watched him handle Ware our first game and seen him play a few others just as well. The guy is a top three LT in the NFL.

Yeah, Ware got hurt very early in the game. And on your point about top 3 LT, your outta your mind. Only someone related to the guy would make that comment and actually believe. And most of his relatives probably wouldnt believe it at that.

tunahelper, put down the crack.

Donald Penn is nowhere close to top 3.

If we can get Gaither or Jammal Brown (now he's really good... but of course coming off an injury which makes him a little more risky) for a 2nd, I'll be doin backflips.

What is the draft pick cost for those guys?

I know Gaither had a first round pick tender, but now it looks like Baltimore would take a 2nd. What is the tenders for Brown and Penn? I like Free at LT, but if we can't get the same quality of player at that pick in the draft, then trade it for the better player.

How many franchises let quality left tackles walk out the door?

Franchises that draft a story book LT...

I'm sure they don't want him to walk, but Oher is the LT and Gaither does not want to play RT. The Ravens have to get value now...

you guys are looking for something that is not there. I'm sure the Ravens still value Gaither but it is a business and Gaither is ready to give up his spot. The business end says you move him...
