As much as I dislike what Hitler did, the latter was a leader, and did captivate and motivate his men, though the motivations were extremely bad to say the least.

I don't think Coughlin even commands a modicum of such attention.

Well, considering the punishment for none compliance was execution. I can understand how they would seem to have been captivated by him and of course "Do or Die" is one of the ultimate forms of motivated.

Though I think he may be focusing on Hitler's rise to power and the "leadership" he exhibited toward that rise.

Nevertheless, there are many leaders in world civilizations one can admire without having to draw upon Hitler.

Uhh...I know people hate really looking into the life of Hitler objectively, and I don't want to get into it on this forum, but there is a reason why he rose to power in Germany and did it through the existing political process that existed there. This is the same country of people that "originally" rallied under his leadership that produced great philosophers such as Kant, Nietzsche, Heiddeger, mathematicians such as Leibniz, musicians such as Beethoven and Mozart, etc.

What he did after that was a different story. Stating facts have nothing to do with "admiring" anything about him.

Coughlin has lost a team before and I think h learned enough from that not to do it again. (but I do wonder why Burris was on the sidelines at the end of th game)

Shockey is a big baby but he is not an all me player, he is not as talanted as TO either.

I think the Gents have a good team but I question the head of one Eli Manning, he is the key to their Race Car, but I'm not sure he fits the ignition in to days NFL like his bro.

Actually, I'm well aware of Hitler's story. I wrote more than one essay on his life. Fear was his tool throughout his life. His story was very much the same as the birth most religions. Attack human ignorance by spreading FUD. (Fear Uncertainty & Doubt)

I think the Giants have already melted down. Barring a last minute surge against Philly, they would be 0-3 right now.

They have a lot of talent, but don't seem to be playing to their potential. Coughlin lost some of his players before the season ever started.
