I can confirm with multiple sources Jerry talks to on a daily basis and his 20 years + of history as GM/Owner that Moore his new HC candidate if McCarthy experiment fails.

I believe Kellen Moore will take over as the head coach of Dallas if fat & lazy McCarthy doesn't turn around this team halfway next year.

Jerry realizes Moore can do what McCarthy supposedly specialized in, and he would hire a competent DC instead of paying back favor to his old friends like Nolan.

If that's true, then Jerry is even dumber than I ever thought.
Whatever develops with Mike McCarthy, Kellen Moore is NOT the solution. Moore shouldn't even be the play caller right now, let alone be inline for HC. The last time Jerry handed the HC position to an inexperienced unqualified candidate, nepotism led us to 10 years of Garrett's 8-8, middle of the road, go nowhere fast football, till it got so bad that even Jerry couldn't stand it anymore. You want to talk about failed experiments, Garrett was a failed experiment. Moore would just be more of the same. :banghead:

Jerry had a relationship with Garrett’s father. Garrett was a second string QB here for years during the glory years. Jerry had a great relationship with Garrett even before hiring him as HC. Kellen Moore is not a Garrett situation imo. Garrett has been the only “HC in waiting” under Jerry’s tenure (excluding Sean Payton and Mike Zimmerman cause Jerry let them walk).

Jerry will give MM two more years (thats if the next year doesn’t turn out like this one). Moore will be hired on somewhere before the MM experiment fails (probably in college).

Im not saying Jerry doesn’t see potential in Moore. I’m sure the senile old man does, but MM isn’t Wade and Moore doesn’t have the history Jerry had with Garrett. Moore will not be HC in Dallas.

It always amazes me how someone like Moore who shouldn't even be calling plays right now can even be in the conversation of becoming a head coach..... but an offensive play caller genius like Eric Bienemy STILL hasn't gotten a well deserved HC job yet..... that good ol' boy network is STILL alive and kicking and Jerry Jones is the King Good ol' boy....

What do your sources think of public reports of Kellen interviewing for the Bosie St job and his interest in being the HC there?

Then do so.

I would actually like Mccarthy to call the plays and if he worse than Kellen than that's license to can him. Garrett was calling plays and then it got taken from him , and multiple OCs after that as scapegoats were used to keep him around. If you can't be an expert on the side of the ball you come from then why are you the head coach. For years Belicheck didn't call plays until recently and yet the defense was solid when he did and the game plans were sound. He is an expert on his side of the ball. So I feel a coach should be able to come in and call plays anytime with ease if that is his background.

Maybe I'm just holding out hope but I think him and Stephen are still hoping to lure OUs HC in a year or 2

except Jerry is 78 and “two more years” is capital that can’t be wasted on big Mike.

Jerry sees the mess big Mike made this season.

There is NO way Jerry let’s KMoore just walk with out a fight.

Legacy and Super Bowls are what drives Jerry.

he could care less about big Mike.

Moore doesn’t have the experience to be a hc...:he’s barely had the experience to be a oc and is learning on the job...

OC with #1 offense in the NFL in 2019.

QB in college and NFL.

The Rams did it.

why let big Mike destroy the offense too?

isn’t the defense enough?

This is leverage vs Jerry.

word is that Kellens OC contract is expiring too.

Jerry must decide soon....

How you haven’t been benched for uttering complete and ridiculous opinions is beyond me

I like Moore a lot, but I think he's about 5 years from being a HC in the NFL. A pit stop at a major college would, theoretically, only season him up for us

He has plenty of leverage with JJ because he already thinks the kid is a genius and Dak loves him.

The whole “leverage” angle is overblown. The Boise St job won’t come back around for awhile. If coaching there was ever on KM’s list of things to do— now is the opportune moment to try and land it.
