Opinion: Moore inline to be Dallas HC

He has plenty of leverage with JJ because he already thinks the kid is a genius and Dak loves him.

The whole “leverage” angle is overblown. The Boise St job won’t come back around for awhile. If coaching there was ever on KM’s list of things to do— now is the opportune moment to try and land it.

Possibly leaving for another job IS leverage.

but this can only be used if you are serious about leaving.

this is a power play that is used by people who want to advance and are successful.

Either way, KMoore wins.

Jerry has to decide if losing KMoore is acceptable.

I like Moore a lot, but I think he's about 5 years from being a HC in the NFL. A pit stop at a major college would, theoretically, only season him up for us

If KMoore leaves, he’s gone for good.

people rarely return. It does happen.

life is short.

Careers are short.

What do your sources think of public reports of Kellen interviewing for the Bosie St job and his interest in being the HC there?

I hope he takes that Boise job and McCarthy starts calling his own plays.

This is a rhetorical question but can Jerry seriously be this stupid? We all know he can, but this would be the icing on the cake of his GM track record. The wow move to top them all. That would be a fitting swan song before retirement? Go out on bottom. Jerry style!

Moore doesn’t have the experience to be a hc...:he’s barely had the experience to be a oc and is learning on the job...

Neither did Garrett but we all know how that panned out.

So you are saying another Garrett to Wade? When does he throw him under the bus?

I dint think this will happen but I have stated that KM was Jerry’s ways of showing he still has control and undermining everything.

Neither did Garrett but we all know how that panned out.

problem is everyone sees the success Sean Mcvay had and think it’s easy to replicate....I’ll give more credit that he has done well in a short time but 1 good season leading in total yards and 8th in scoring offense doesn’t mean he’s elite or ready to be a hc

I would actually like Mccarthy to call the plays and if he worse than Kellen than that's license to can him. Garrett was calling plays and then it got taken from him , and multiple OCs after that as scapegoats were used to keep him around. If you can't be an expert on the side of the ball you come from then why are you the head coach. For years Belicheck didn't call plays until recently and yet the defense was solid when he did and the game plans were sound. He is an expert on his side of the ball. So I feel a coach should be able to come in and call plays anytime with ease if that is his background.

Mike doesn't know the plays. It's not his offensive system. He'd have to install his offense and set Dak back a year while he learns the WC scheme.

When the clock hits zeros on the final game against Giants.......Kellon Moore will be headed to. BS
I can confirm with multiple sources Jerry talks to on a daily basis and his 20 years + of history as GM/Owner that Moore his new HC candidate if McCarthy experiment fails.

I believe Kellen Moore will take over as the head coach of Dallas if fat & lazy McCarthy doesn't turn around this team halfway next year.

Jerry realizes Moore can do what McCarthy supposedly specialized in, and he would hire a competent DC instead of paying back favor to his old friends like Nolan.
Please just stop the BS.

How you haven’t been benched for uttering complete and ridiculous opinions is beyond me
In his mind he is in the inner circle of confidants. His keepers let him use the chrome book today.

Moore could be HC, or just paid like one to keep him here rather than taking the Boise State job.
