Opinion: Sam Hurd will start vs Titans

If TO can't go then chances are Hurd will see a lot of action. If TO is ready to go then I think he will play. After all training camp and pre-season are over and these games are for real.

I agree. Owens is a lot of things, but he's also a warrior. I expect that he'll be ready. Particularly if it is only a question of playing through pain.

I could really see TO playing half the snaps, Hurd the other half. Just to let TO getting used to to the restrictions he'll have with the plate in his hand. That's just me, though. I just want him ready for Philly, we can take care of Tennessee. I am not overlooking them, they just aren't good.

Honestly TO as a decoy is better than Hurd as the real deal, I mean he can catch more things one handed than Hurd. Hurd looked good in preseason but so do alot of one game wonders, bring the popcorn...
