...and we sure did!

We dialed up #9 to #11 big today! I feel good for Roy after his monster game. I've had a feeling that there would be more chemistry between those two this season and they've proven me right.

Congrats to Roy on a good game.

I'm torn on this. I'm a notorious Roy hater, and part of me wants to say that his big plays were great throws by Romo and a result of a DB falling down.... But this guy has come to play this year. He's worked on his fundamentals, he's catching everything thrown his way, and if he can start to draw coverage our offense is going to really going to be dynamic.

He's using his big frame, he looks noticably quicker, and it seems Romo isn't afraid to look his way in critical situations.

Granted we were playing the worst pass defense in the entire league, but Roy looked like the guy we gave up all those picks for. Between Miles, Dez, and Roy we have the best WRs in the league.

They fell down because he put a great move on him.

I'm right there with you having to swallow my pride, but I have to give Roy major props. He's doing it.

It's amazing though what a player can do when they actually work and not be lazy.

I like your catchy jingle in the thread title lol. But yea Im really pumped for Roy though, it seems that Dez being on the team really stepped up his play

Yeeeeah man. Roy Williams whipped #25 twice. He's explosive off the line of scrimmage, drives with his hips low and doesn't come up until its time to make the grab.

Love his play.

Agree. All I ask for is consistency from a WR that has been stealing money up until early this season. I don't necessarily consider myself a "hater". I just want to see us get value for what we thought we were getting. It appears that we're now starting to get some of that value and it makes me extremely happy.

Keep strivin Roy.

Roy had a great day. But I'm not breaking out the annoiting oil yet.

Finally...after two years...Romo to Roy is becoming smooth. Roy has been open alot, but either he was off with the timing or Romo was off. Today they were just in synch...

Thats why I'm torn.

I want to get excited and see that he's finally recognizing his potential, clicking with Romo, etc. But we were playing the worst pass defense in all of football.

Kareem Jackson is a rookie, and Roy made him look like one.

Either way I'm thrilled about the victory, I just saw nothing but great things from all of our receivers today. You could tell Houston was hell bent on keeping Witten and Austin from beating them today.

Just give Roy his props. No need for the caveats. He was beasting today. Romo to Roy has given us a chance to salvage this season.

Roy did have a great day today. So far, I would not be mad if we gave a 3rd rounder for him. 10 more games like this and giving a 1st rounder up for him looks good.:D

All of the Roy critisism was absolutely justified up until this year. So far so good this year...

He looked like the guy I thought we were getting today.

Exactly.

When you get man coverage against a rookie, you should abuse him. Especially with that frame and Roy's length.

Everyone has been wondering what this offense will look like if Romo to Roy starts clicking. Well today was just a preview. Dez had about 100 yards and 2 TDs called back by little miscues. This team still has the potential to be a 450+ point offense, even given our strength of schedule. Especially if 11 shows up like he did today.

he should have 3 TD's if not for Barron that and we be 2-1

So true. I think it can and will hold up.

Remember last year after the first game of the season when Roy Williams had a big game against Tampa Bay?

I doubt Roy Williams is out of the woods yet. But Cowboys fans are giddy with a win and a great game from Roy, so all is forgiven --- for now. ;)

When you're torn by a Dallas Cowboys player doing well, you need to re-think some things.
