Zoners,

I really believe ROMO practiced to show Mr. Jones and Coach Phillips the velosity he had on the ball. At that time, each agreed that ROMO was good to go for Sunday, however to keep his status secret so as to hurt the RAMS gameplan. :starspin

ROMO was extremely limited yesterday as a diversion to IF he would play or not to the media folks.

IMHO, he is resting the pinkie up until game time.........he will play! :starspin

What is your prediction?

I say he will not start. The thing that I have not seen or heard all week is Brooks Bollinger getting any snaps. If he is not then he will likely be inactive and Romo will at least dress.

He should not start, but be backup. Brad should be able to hold his own. If not, look forward to 2009

I agree that he should sit this one out.

I'm pretty confident that Brad can do the job this week.

My main concern would be the snaps from center.
If Tony jams that finger, it could make things worse.

And if Brad and the team can't get up for the Rams and take care of business ,well, not a good sign for our chances this year.

If playing makes the finger heal slower, his passes are off target or he risks it getting worse then he should sit. If there's no risk of any of that and he can still play at a high level then play

If you say so, I believe it because I think you are Jerry Jones.

If Tony starts, hopefully we can get a big enough lead that he can sit most of the 2nd half.

He's not Jerruh. He's the one with the weird looking mouth on the left in his sig.

He better not. That would be a stupid decision against St. Louis. This team needs Romo for the long haul, not one regular season game that this team should be able to beat with BJohnson.

I will definitely question JJones intellect if he makes the final call to have him start.

And I was going to make a poll about this but for some reason, I can't find that option anymore?

I have no idea. Which I kind of like, because it means that Jerry and Wade have done a good job of confusing the issue and the Rams are having to prepare for both guys. :)

Kind of interesting -- I missed all but the very end of the interview, but Patrick Crayton was on KRLD 1080 last night and he pretty much said he hoped Romo didn't play because the risk just wasn't worth it.

We call that a blatant attempt to mislead.

WOW! I'm guessing six lines and 80 plus words is a record for CC.:D

I'm feeling a surprise start. It would be a perfect ending to this week.

Loss to Arizona, multiple injuries announced on Mon, Tues and Wed. And of course the to top it all off, Pacman's suspension.

So just when we're are all at our lowest, BANG we get the Roy trade announced. It was just perfect.

A Romo start would be a great ending.

I hope not.
I'd rather we have a healthier Romo against the Giants. Just taking the snap is going to put pressure on his finger, not to mention chance jamming it.

I'd rather he not play Iron Man and just do what's best; get it in better shape for the tougher games ahead. Brad can handle the Rams.

I too feel he should sit out this game. I think this win does not basically falls on the offense shoulders although they must do they job, but more so on the defense to step up, find some heart and play like the caliber of D that they have been built to be. Brad will do well managing the game, but the defense need to start bring it and bring it hard.
