Optimistic about Denver?

Hey guys, I know I'm relatively new to posting here, but I'd just like to say how much fun it has been to watch the team this year.

We have seen them strong, dominating, pushed around, lucky and unlucky. We have seen a great offense and a not so great offense. We have seen the D pull us out and win the game!

But one thing I am concerned about...Denver.

I have a bad feeling about this game. The main reason is I don't know which Dallas team is going to show up! The one that can't get into the goal line from the one, or the one that makes 58 yard passing plays.

The one that is stymied by double teaming T.Glenn or the one that picks them appart at will!

The team that plays Denver has got to wake up and play the game the way they palyed Philly at home, the way they played Washington for 58 mins. (forget the last 2 mins.)

Also, how sweet is it to finally have a kicker worth his salt? That 50 plus yard FG was sweet!

How do you all fee labout the Denver game?

Go Cowboys!!!

I think a win would be great BUT a loss that made us take that "next" step would be better... I dont think we are playing to our potential and we need something to happen to get that going. Maybe a good *** kicking

I think that going 3-0 over an 11 day stretch is tough.

I'm ok with losing this game. But, if our OL gets dominated by Michael Myers and Eb Ekuban, I'm going to throw a turkey leg across the room.

I'm not ready to concede this game to Denver. Dallas will have to play better than we have over the last 2 games but I firmly believe the Boys will be up to the challenge.

I am very surprised by all the negativity after a victory. I think the Cowboys looked bored playing the Lions. This Denver team coming in will get their full effort. I believe the Cowboys will play with a lot of intensity and show just what this team can do.

I'm really glad this game is at home...that make a huge difference I think. Denver is playing very well right now. I think we will play them well..better performance then we've seen against Iggles and Lions. I think it will be a close game that will come down to turnovers...our oline is scary at best right now. Those two things will determine this game. If BP somehow can get the oline to play better and we force a few turnovers we can take this game...if not we lose.

The thing that scares me more than anything when playing the broncos is injuries. With the way they are coached to cut block and roll, they are notorious for injuring deffensive linemen and backers.

I have never respected the way they are taught to "stop, drop, and roll" in order to get a man down. I have seen them hurt way to many players with that technique and I pray it doesn't happen Thursday. If we make it passed this game with no major injuries to our dline or backer, we have won, regardless of the score.

The way I look at it. The Cowboys will never lose another game. But I may be surprised from time to time. ;)

To win we need Drew to be healthy, and protected by the offensive line. Also, we need the running game to be successful so that we can keep our defense off the field so that they can have the energy to get after the Denver QB, and stop the Denver RB's.

This game presents the opportunity for the Cowboys to make a statement with the rest of NFL teams and the whole country watching "America's Team".

I expect the Cowboys to be motivated and prepared. I'll be interested in what Parcell has to say in the Press Conference today.

I'm actually optimistic about this game. R. Smith and Lelie haven't faced a CB tandem a secondary of Dallas' caliber yet. I fully expect Newman and Henry (if healthy) to earn their paychecks this week as Zimmer will be forced to stack the box against the Broncos' running game.

On the other side, I think if the offense can squeeze by once more, Crayton will be back against the Giants and be another 3rd down safety valve for Bledsoe. As far as this week, getting the run established is a primary objective. This offense is predicated by the run as it has been for years.

I think Dallas wins this game handily, 23-10.

if Landainian Tomlinson,Clinton Portis and Shawn Alexander couldn't dominate this run defense,Mike Anderson and Tatum Bell won't be able to either---on 3 days rest.

To me it is not the RB of Denver that concerns me it is the scheme they run. They rely so much on the cut backs in the running game and take advantage of teams over pursuing the play. It takes discipline to stop their running attack

I actually don't have that bad feeling right now, but you never know with that though. I usually get that feeling when I picking games though and 99% of the time, when I ignore that bad feeling, I end up making the wrong pick.

But I think Cowboys will be up for this game. Aint no way they will sleep walk through the game like they did against Lions. Especially on OFfense. But most of the fault on Offense lies I guess with OL and Drew. Although from my viewpoint at the stadium, it didn't seem like Drew was harrassed as much as TV might have shown.

I counted at least 2-3 times where he was eventually pressured, he held onto the ball way too long. Anyway, that being said, I hope the good Drew finally shows up. He hasn't shown up in two weeks now.

Denver DL is little overrated and they do blitz a lot. As long as Cowboys D can man up and stop the run, the game is theirs to be had, which is obvious to anyone who has seen Denver this year.

I agree it is their scheme. Plummer rolling out is also very important to their offense. Our ends have to stay home, and if they do Jake is nothing special. They are also playing rookies at some of their D-back positions, and I think that if our o-line can give Drew some time they can be had through the air. (Even if Champ is healthier than in pst weeks) I think we will be fired up, and ready to roll this week. Can't wait! How long has it been since a Thanksgiving game actually mattered? TOO LONG!!!!!

This should be the game that our two OLB's really show their worth. Ware and Burnett/Fugita. They need to stay home and watch the cutbacks and they got enough speed to chase down Plummer when he rolls out for the naked bootlegs. I hope the LB's are up to the challenge and put a big hit on him. If he gets hit, Plummer gets gittery....
