It would be good to find an older veteran starter that is a Cap Casualty but I don't see many options.

The Panthers are tight with the Cap and have a young guy that started at Center most of last season and part of 2016. Their starter Ryan Kalil is under contract for 2-years, 16.75M.

Some teams with 3 players than can play Center:
Bengals
Billy Price
Brad Lundblade
T.J. Johnson - Played for Cowboys OL coach

Texans
Nick Martin
Kyle Fuller
Greg Mancz

Chargers
Mike Pouncey
Spencer Pulley Started 16 games at Center
Scott Quessenberry 5th 2018

Bears
Cody Whitehair
Hroniss Grasu
James Daniels. Draft 2018

We got guys on our roser as back ups who can't make other team practice squads. But who ever has some tread left I guess.

ideally we can trade spare dl

He's the Bears version of Chad Green. But he's a guy on another team so he must be an upgrade

Well never mind. There is always a soft spot in my heart for Oregon Ducks

Not opposed to the move if he's free but I do think there is a great irony here.

We've got people screaming about how Chad Green is the worst player ever and complaining that he's injury prone. Yet calls to go get a guy who dropped just as awful a performance and also has an injury history.

You have referred to Chaz Green as "Chad Green" in consecutive posts.

How do you expect someone to take you seriously?

Wait, I guess typing properly is kind of hard.

Or that darn spellcheck thing.

Whoa, wait a sec. Maybe this Chad Green dude has something.
He might be pretty good.

He might actually not be an oft-injured mentally weak player that we have not spent a lot of emotional capital on.

Then again, Chad does not have Chaz's rock solid resume of doing "pretty good" filling in for a couple of weeks years ago. Not sure I trust Chad.

It was autocorrect. Good lord.

I'm certain #91 wouldn't mind being pressed into immediate service, although, he'd prolly drop that,,,retirement bomb pretty quicklyo_O

This is crazy.

Take somebody now..

Over the next 2 games and get them reps at center.

The position is probably haVing to be platooned for awhile.

What about Williams..?

Have him take snaps at 2 positions.

Get somebody also ready to play.

We have other to play LG.

Let's see, Looney nicked up his snapping hand.

Stanton, his backup is also injured.

I guess we can still wait on this flood of talent coming our way at the final cuts.

And we are right about midway down the totem pole.

But on the bright side, Chad Green only gave up maybe one sack tonight.
