Ordick or Alualu

Alualu gives more flexibility and better pass rush.

Ordick would give us a great deal of humorous jokes between him and Ball.

Can you tell who made that play Moose?

No Dick, I think it was either a BallSack or OrdickSack

Will they re-sign the DL or the FS?

Just gotta ask yourself if you prefer ball, ordick.

Alualu seems a little small to play on a 3-4 Dline. Hes 6'2 290 and only put up 21 bench reps at the combine. Not sure hes the type of guy that is going to be able to take on double teams and stuff the run.

It really all depends on who is left where though. Odrick would have to be our 27th pick while Alualu would be in the 2nd round. Even though DE isnt exactly a huge need, so either player will only be taken if they are the best available(which I think could be the case for Odrick).

don't want either one of them

Me either, though I'd qualify that with saying we dont need either of them if Spears, Hatcher and Bowen are all here for 2010. If one were to be traded (especially Spears, who's the proven starter) then DE becomes a little more of a need.

Odrick, I think he'll be a player just not sure he'd be as dynamic in our scheme.

I believe we actually will draft a DE to groom and challenge for the spot opposite Igor. The reason I say that is because it's always important to keep adding talent to keep pushing our players like we do with every other position.

I'd pick Alualu over Odrick because I'm a firm believer that we will trade down and although Odrick could be a safer pick, Alualu seems to have that nastiness and motor like Jay Ratliff. Also, although Alualu put up only 21 on the bench, I doubt he will take Marcus's job this season. If anything he'll be a situational passrushing DE, and in a year we'll be able to see how much he's learned.

If not, one guy I do like that we could pick up in later rounds & that we've shown interest in is Mike Neal out of Purdue. Strong and quick DT in college that we can try out at DE.

I saw him play againest LSU an did not here his name once - and againest Iowa guess Bugala shut him down

Odrick is the guy that is a bust - basing on what I saw of him this year

there are some many other guy s I think are better
