I guess we have a week before the Magic are back on TV, but I am pretty stoked about our chances this season. As long as the Magic can keep from making Vince Carter the number one option, we may be able to make a push for a title this year.

man, we are really playing some great basketball as of late. 3's are just raining down from every possible angle. What has really impressed me is the defense, it's smothering sometimes. It seems the recipe is in place to make another nice run and hopefully polish a ring.

I got a feeling its going to be LA Vs Orlando again in the finals. Cleveland looks like they're losing it and if Boston does beat them, no way their getting past Orlando.

I have no opinion on the basketball team, but I just have to say that the "Magic" is a really dumb sports team name.

Almost as bad as the "Heat."

Really. They sound like Major League Soccer or Arena Football team names.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. The folks in Orlando like it, partly because they had some say in it. Interesting bit of trivia, "The Heat" was actually one of the front running names for the Orlando team as well.

Orlando should be the favorite to win it all.

They're the best team, and they dont have a number one option.

One game its Vince, the next is Jameer, the next its Howard, the next it's Rashard. That's why they're so good, is they have so many weapons that can beat you.

Their inside-outside game is nearly impossible to defend when executed properly, and their team defense just funnells everything into Howard where he can contest and force altered shots.

I think it can be attributed to their coach Stan Van Gundy. Dude is one of the best in the league, and is not getting the credit he deserves. Because of him, they're playing with some of the most confidence I have ever seen out of a basketball team. I'm talking like Kobe/Shaq Lakers confidence.

If they play their game and play well, they will win it all.

Since the Spurs are out, I'm pulling for Orlando to win it all.

Welcome to big boy basketball Orlando. We ain't the bobcats or hawks. Christmas is over!!!.. Go Celtics!!

Oh brother, "big boy basketball"? It's a shame that out of all the Celtics fans out there, this is the best we can get on this board to represent such an historically great franchise.

Anyway, good game by the Celtics. They came to play tonight and the Magic did not until it was way too late. Long series ahead though.

I called this game over once the Celtics hit a 20 point lead. It doesn't matter that the Magic made a comeback. At that point it was over.

Yes, I mean big boy basketball. The kind of basketball where you punch people in the mouth instead of getting hit. Let's face it the magic were on easy street playing a bunch of mental midgets. The hawks wacthed Howard posterize them all series, then asked for his autograph. The celtics are going to pound him and make him feel those hard fouls.

The celts took Orlando to 7 last year without KG. This year we have him and Wallace who's defended Howard well in the past. Boston is hungry and the magic are going to pay the price. Good enough for you.

Not really, but I guess you will have to do. It is amazing that you can cry about "no KG" on one hand but ignore that the Magic played the majority of that series without two of their starters as well. We did not have Jameer Nelson the entire series, who was playing the best basketball of his career prior to getting injured. The Magic also had to play Reddick on Allen because Pietrus was still not 100%. Convenient oversight from a sore loser, I suppose.

Credit where it is due. Boston played lights out last night and they deserved to win. I'm not a guy who would make excuses if his team lost a game (see above for an example). The Magic will need to come out and play their "A" game if they hope to advance. That is a talented team they are facing.

Man! Boston played a better game, but why put the ball in Vince's hands with the game on the line? That dude always chokes on the big stage. Well, Kudos to the Celtics, Rondo is just unreal.

This is yet another in a long line of reasons why I call this team the Poorlando Tragic

I like the name Magic, it fits Orlando, since they have Walt Disney World "The Magic Kingdon" down there.

I do feel the Miami Heat is a bit lame, but still better than the Mojitos, Sharks, Rays, Key Limes, Cartel, AARPs, Vice, Burn

I actually think the Miami Tropics would have been a pretty decent name....though, probably more of a minor league feel to it.

not me...not after Stuporman acted like a little female dog against us in the game at the AT&T Center this year.

Orlando Tragic and early LBJ exit have made these playoffs somewhat interesting.

On paper Orlando is easily the best team i mean you have a great score in vince, an all star PG, good shooters/defenders everywhere, and the best big man. I guess Dwight just isn't as good/polished as shaq was at this time and shows that he's more Clark Kent that superman.
