Like I said Orlando welcome to big boy basketball. 3-0 and the brooms will be out Monday night. Bring on the fakers . Celtic pride baby!!

The Celtics are for real folks and they are just that good. Definition of team.
I never did like them, but you have to respect how they play. I'm a little jealous!

The celtics took that personally because the media slighted them. Lebron will have his day, but let him win something first before in the words of Dennis Grenn, crown his ***.

SLATEmosphere;3411559 said:I somewhat agree, but to be fair Lebron didn't annoint himself anything. He was named "the chosen one" when he was 18 and I can't think of anyone that's lived up to more hype. The King was media generated and it's not his fault the media slurps him so much. He only goes out and plays.
This isn't towards you, but I really don't get how anyone can hate on LeBron. All he does is go out and performs. People may hate on him because they feel insecure about him possibly being better than Kobe and is a threat to him or they're sick of the media hype. None of that is his fault.

Michael had some of those same whisperings in 87 through 89 until Pippen really started to come on and they won a championship in 91. Simple logic that has almost always held true in the NBA. LeBron will probably not be able to get over the hump until he has a teammate that is on that "top level" talent-wise.
Jordan couldn't get there until he had Pippen,
The Admiral couldn't get there until he had Duncan,
Shaq had Kobe,
Duncan had Parker and Ginobli,
Pierce had Garnett and Allen,
Kobe had Pau,
This year's champ will have at least one copilot.
The only exception was probably Olajuwan when his Rockets teams won it in 94 and 95, but that was also during Jordan's hiatus.

If I have one play/shot to win the championship and I can pick any player, it's Kobe hands down. I don't know if Lebron even makes my top five. I don't think he's a complete player. I'd be interested to see his true-shooting percentage numbers. I also, think for a star, he's a solid free throw shooter. and his mid-range game is nothing next to Kobe.
I'm not a Kobe or Lakers fan. I actually can't stand him or the team. He's the NBA's best player. I think after him, it might be Wade, then probably Lebron.

SLATEmosphere;3416792 said:So Kobe is a better shooter. Big Deal.
LeBrons full game dwarfs Kobe's. Better Rebounder, passer and finisher. I don't know how you can say he's not a complete player. He's no Ray Allen or Reggie Miller but he can shoot above average. There's no holes to his game.
And honestly, it makes me sick when people say they'll take Kobe in the last two minutes or last shot. HE'S NOT CLUTCH
I don't know why people think he is. He's made a few and here but overall he's not clutch it all.
In Fact Kobe Bryant is 14 for 56 on game winning shots. That's 25% folks.
LeBron is 17 for 50. 34%!
Aside from those two, the league average is 29%!!
Kobe has the most missed game winning shots in NBA History at 42.
So please spare me the ignorance about how Kobe is so clutch.

Lebron is only better at Kobe at rebounding. Kobe is a better passer, shooter, and finisher. Forget assist stats ... look at skill set.
Kobe is a winner.
Lebron is not and I don't think will ever be. Which is why I want D-Wade on my Knicks and not Lebron. Although, they'll screw up and sign Joe Johnson and Dirk Nowitzki to max deals because they're my Knicks and thats what they do.
Rampage;3417571 said:how about free throw shooting?
how about his decision to pass the ball more than shoot it when the game is on the line?
his jump shot is also so inconsistent cause he doesn't stay balanced. too many times he leans to 1 side when shooting.
everybody has a hole somewhere in there game. i'm also a Lebron fan by the way.
Kobe is not a winner? Then what does that make Lebron?SLATEmosphere;3418108 said:Kobe is not a winner and incredibly overrated. Shaq averaged 38 points and 17 rebounds in the 3 consecutive finals they won. Who wouldn't win 3 titles with that?? SPARE ME.
And he wasn't even the best player on his team last year. Gasol was. He might of won mvp but he couldn't do it without Gasol and Bynum. We all saw how they got *****ed without Bynum in 08.
Not to mention he didnt do crap without Gasol and Shaq. in 2005-2007
Kobe's not a winner. He piggy backs skilled bigmen and acts like Batman but he's always been a Robin.
