Couldn't agree more. Scandrick has been this good all along; it's just that the casual fan doesn't see it.

He plays slot, which is a really difficult position to play because you don't have the sideline as a 2nd defender. Then you have to be really quick. Scandrick has some of the best hips I've seen in a cornerback.

Hmm, I thought he was pretty average. Our defense wasn't too hot today and I saw him being part of the problem at times (though Carr more). He had a couple nice plays, but overall nothing great. If Mo had a game like this, there'd be a thread lambasting him (it's happened before and Mo's last few games were better and nobody gave him credit.).

You may want to go back and watch it again. OScan had yet another solid overall game today. Please feel free to highlight any observations that lead to your conclusion.

I guess getting burned by Kris Durham last week motivated him to not take a play off.

Very much agreed! The guy has been our most consistent defensive player this year!

He played a hell of a game, and has been consistent all year long.

A guy we give a contract to, and still plays his heart out.

Sorry but, I think he could be one of our long term answers, at the CB position...or at least a better option vs MO.

I never seen MO, stick so close to his WR's so consistently....as Orlando has. Even if it's a catch, he is on top of that ***.

I have to say I have seen Orlando as the most overpaid guy on the team coming into the year, but this season he is playing his butt off. Right there with Lee and Hatcher as the best players on D.

well first off WE SHOULD NOT POSITION WITH 1- 6 TEAM WE SHOULD BE CRUSHING THEM

I think we real lucky AP did not run over us anymore than he did

Like that but can't give up on Mo...not expensive till he will be (OSCAN is talented as hell though and personally hope for his wishes...big corners are being brought out to defend this O Heavy tempo... could work

I and a few others on this site have always felt Scandrick was solid. Last year he was having a solid year until that Falcons game came where he had a terrible sequence of plays and that defined his season for whatever reason. Two measly plays. Scandrick has always been solid. You've always heard it from coaches.

I've always been a fan because he came here and worked hard for everything he got. He had to earn his spot on a team that had overpaid corners and 1st round corners on it. And in 2013, he's the last one standing from 2008.

A little fun fact I actually didn't know was Brandon Carr was taken two spots ahead of Scandrick.

He had a good game. A nice rebound game for him.
Different position but, Another name I heard called a lot was a dude I didn't even know was on the the team honestly ...... Everett brown

Just signed this week. Really good impact for being with the team such a short period of time.

Usually when you don't hear someone's name they are having a really good game. I hardly heard Scandrick's name lol.

I've been saying this for a long time. He's the best corner on the team, and a highly underrated player. Glad to see people finally giving him the credit he deserves. I still think his contract is a bit high.

I agree with you. I always liked OScan. Even though everyone was bickering about him, I always thought he was talented enough to takeover opposite of Carr. I wasn't on board with the Mo Clayborn trade. I watched enough film to know that Mo got his reputation by playing the worst receiver of any of their opponents. Now that trade is coming back to haunt us.

People should consider this when they are bashing other players, especially young players.

Scandrick was lambasted in past seasons but people that didn't understand Rob Ryan's defense. That defense put an extreme strain on certain positions. The two most difficult position in RR's defense was slot CB and Strong-Side OLB.

Yes, and last year Scandrick preformed brilliantly at slot corner (under 50% completion) at maybe the toughest position to play on defense. Guy is a very good corner, plays with a chip on his shoulder and doesn't back down.

Non Scan fan here.

But, He did play well. No doubt.

I am still holding out for Dallas to find another solid DB on the outside though. I was hoping it was Mo, but, the dude can't stay healthy. Carr is still the best on this team and thank god for that..
