I mean, I don't think we're going to be a very good team this year, but it's not like Orlando Scandrick was the make or break. Granted, in the grand scheme of things, it's another loss to stack on top of Ware/Lee/Lawrence, etc. but I don't think Scandrick was going to make the difference in any wins or losses.

If Claiborne gets his head out of his behind, most teams don't have a 1-2 as good as Carr/Claiborne.

No great loss and Scandrick is woeful in coverage.

Proof that PED's don't work.

Dude, Scandrick was our best corner last year.

The $50 million dollar man gets burnt more than bagels at IHOP and Mr. 6th pick overall MO plays like a 7th rounder.

SF is going to beat us like we stole something................LMAO

Well then...There's another reason to assume this defense will be worse than last year. Seriously. Who's gonna take his place? Webb? Mitchell?

What's it going to be then, eh?

Mo will find a way to somehow use this as an opportunity to sit out the rest of pre-season.

More like it will be an excuse for the staff to sit him if he does not do it himself. Can't risk it you know.

As much as I hate to admit it, prospects for a successful season seem to be dwindling with each passing day lately.
So much so, that being mediocre is beginning to look more like a goal than a curse. How much more can go wrong?

I think it was marijuana, bu the team is saying PEDS. I don't care enough to debate the point, because I don't see how it matters honestly. Either way it goes, he was violated, the appeal denied, and he won't play the first four games.

Well, if it was grass I would say it doesn't matter. I seriously doubt grass was helping him get stronger. Give him the munchies maybe.

But PEDs? Yes it matters. If he has been gaining strength or even just believed he was, then having to do without them could very easily have a deleterious effect on him.

The defense the first month of the season is likely to be just as bad as it was for the last two months of last season. No talent on the field at all.

It will be worse.

Virtually that same D without Lee, Ware, Hatcher or Scandrick

...and the hits just keep on comin'.....

He probably went to Cabo or Cancun where hundreds of higher profile athletes and personalities party every day without incident. It's not like he went to Juarez or Detroit.

Chicago had the World's most vicious member of Zeta running the city's drug and crime elements. Las Vegas was largely funded by the Mob, the oldschool Mafia. Louisiana political State structures were saturated at one point, with Mafia interactions as well.

If Drug Cartels in Mexico, were ruthlessly running crime in a major US city, I hardly think there is a hands off area that is managed as a resort area on a coast. These same Cartel organizations walk into mining areas already in production for exporting metals to foreign markets, and in the open, start their own mining operations up and do their metal removal on already owned property. They handle the 'corporation' all the way to sales to foreign representatives and the shipping involved.

Robin Williams, a member of the fast and influentially in crowd, around Holywood, fought drug and alcohol abuses for years. That lifestyle is pitted with abuses and dangers that are easily attained.

To say there is a catering to a 'cool' crowd, well, is a naïve view, as very organized crime infiltrates the entire social culture everywhere in Mexico. And personal ignorance is what caught Orlando Scandrick with the proverbial snapshot with his drawers.

He received his warnings back when he was a rookie, like the rest of that year's rooks. He got caught up in affluent lifestyle and thought mindlessly, that his selection process was protected by where and who he was with. That cost Robin Williams his life, as he grew in his own failures mindlessly protected by an affluent subclass of similar cash flows.

No, Scandrick was guilty of what ended up poor judgement and unethical discernment. He got caught as a criminal. And he deserves his rewards of that set of deeds. If the issue was legality of prohibited items, he could challenge legal status by going where they are legal. Well, that isn't the case is most States or Mexico. For legal use of even marijuana, today, he would have to go to a resort in a state like Colorado, to legally purchase that substance for personal useage.

That although, would be in bold conflict with the personal integrity attachments that is enforced and expected in the participation in the NFL.

Location and crowd covered nothing as to his role. Just ask Robin Williams...oops, you can't any more.

Not from the same vocal point that also says that accountability was a down fall for the current staff. But now, accountability would be 'stupid.'
That because of an outside and wrong event...just go figure.

CCboy... Don't forget our bets.

Orlando Scandrick will be suspended for the first four games of the 2014 NFL season, according to Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones.

Jones said Monday night the suspension comes comes from a positive test for performance enhancing drugs.

Scandrick and the Cowboys were made aware of the issue just before the start of training camp in late July. Scandrick appealed the ruling, but Jones learned Monday that the NFL has denied that appeal.

It has been declared that the illicit drugs were in the realm of performance enhancement now.

My bet with you, doesn't need that sort of enhancement baggage for a cash in...oh, and I'll remind you that the Cowboys just had a winning season and that McClain was a major part of that.

Mo Claiborne is a clown man. I don't like that guy. He is a pass interference penalty waiting to happen. His lack of focus on the field is a back breaker for the other 10.

Mo is not the problem, he never should have been selected as high as he was.

Quincy Carter was drafted because JJ wanted his own "McNabb", Galloway and Rocket was here because JJ wanted to emulate "the greatest show on turf", Kavika Pittman was suppose to be the next Haley.

Mo was JJ's Patrick Peterson, a high rank corner from LSU, he thought he would follow that easy blueprint and have the same success but Mo ain't half the athlete Peterson is.

He is a prime example of how college talent doesn't always translate to NFL talent.

Keep the suspenders on...the storyline isn't nearly written on Claiborne. Oh, and he wasn't in line to be compared to Quinthy...who did drugs and didn't stop doing so.
