I dunno. If you cant take what somebody says as if it means what they said, what value is there in what was said? He said they didnt drive on the D for 59 mins so he wasnt worried about the last minute. Its not a big deal really but its just not accurate. Im kinda amazed actually at the responses in this thread. I guess we all choose to see what we want to see.

I mean. Let's think about this logically. We all watched the game. We all saw the sequence of events. Scandrick suggesting the D held them for 59 mins of the game is clearly wrong. I'm amazed you latched onto that little tidbit so strongly. Why not charge it to a bit of hyperbole?

I think the point is, without a special teams flag on that 99 yard drive, Det would've gone 3 and out. Yes, they still drove, and yes Scandrick is wrong, but I don't think he literally meant it exactly as such.

Kinda like someone saying "I'm 100000% ready" or "hurry up you're taking forever".

I have to admit I'm kind of disappointed that he admitted the team came out tight. We all saw it and you could tell they were but I think part of JG's strength is the mental approach to the game. I know the Lions were a bad match up and there was a lot of pressure on the team so I guess it's understandable..

I hope they come out looser and more confident in Green Bay. I know just as a fan I feel better about this game than that one.

Why are you taking Scandrick so literal? lol His quotes were simply excerpts from a radio show where he was probably shooting at the hip. I think we all should know what he meant vs what he said. *shrug*

Good lord I hope he isn't shooting at his hip. We got another game to play.
