Just Kidding...I can understand him getting upset but that type of thing could really hurt us during a game. That is the type of thing where you stop an opposing team from scoring at the end of the game and that causes a penalty and gives them a shot at winning the game.

I think Scandrick is the last of the Wade era players that had entitlement issues. Scandrick is a good player but thinks that he is he is Deion Sanders in his prime.

All of the other guys with that attitude are gone. MartyB thought that he was more talented than Witten, etc.. We saw Mike Jenkins celebrating his tackle of Dez after Dez had gained 15 or 20 yards on the play.

Regarding Free, if we get a rejuvenated RT out of him then I'm for keeping him. I'm not saying he approaches his heights ever again, but if we get an 85% solution at RT, then I'll take it. Frees us to look for and also develop replacements.

Free had some whiffs in the Oakland game. I'm not convinced he's ever going to rejuvenate. He's finesse. I don't like finesse players.

Whiffs? Don't recall one. Can you elaborate? He's no mauler but he's definitely stronger than at any point last year. He was stonewalling some people and generating push. In the Dolphins game he was solid against Wake where the kid basically rolled over the Jags RT this week.

Geez, let's not throw the baby out with the bath water. He has had a pretty good camp and it's not like he hasn't ever shown flashes of being a pretty solid player. I've been to four practices and Tyron Smith has had twice the whiffs in camp than Free (granted it's against Ware). Yes, he's still a mystery but let's not bury him already.

Plus, maybe it's me but has anybody else ever heard anything negative about him from an attitude perspective? I' haven't.

Okay but Scandrick actually EARNED his spot. He wasn't a 1st rounder like Mike Jenkins or even a 2nd like Marty B. Scandrick for me is what you WANT in a NFL player. You want someone who is hungry enough to step in and contribute to your team when the odds are against him.....

I don't understand this whole "entitlement" thing. He surely doesn't come across that way on the field unless you are basing your opinion on how he talks to the media?

I have a hard time respecting you after a comment like that. He has never had entitlement issues. He just goes to work.
